Madhu unlocked her front door, it'd been a long day at the office and she was quite glad to be home, she stepped inside and instantly knew her husband was home, the smell of herbs and spices wafted through the house. She shucked off her coat and hung it in their coat closet, slipping off her pumps she slipped on her slippers feeling relieved from wearing the heels and walked towards the kitchen.

"Hey" she smiled faintly walking into the kitchen.

"Hey" he smiled back and continued his task of cooking dinner.

She watched him for a moment admiring him, she walked over to the cupboard pulling out 2 wine glasses and brought out a bottle of red and poured.

"Here" she passed him his drink; he thanked her with a quick kiss and turned back to his cooking whilst she took a seat on the stool.

"You're back early"

"Yeah, I finished early today so thought to cook dinner since you prepare dinner every other day" he responded taking a swig of his wine.

"Prepare dinner?" she lifted her eyebrows. "More like buy an Indian from the restaurant down the road" she chuckled.

"I'm not complaining"

"You better not. I've told you before I don't know how to cook and never will I learn" she replied.

"How did the meeting go?" he questioned turning his head to her after placing a lid on the pan letting dinner cook slowly.

She recalled how she'd told him of the meeting, she swallowed hard wondering whether she should bring RK up, she somewhere guessed Karan wouldn't be too happy if he learns RK is the RK she was planning to merge their company with. "It went ok" she started tentatively. "They're going to let me know soon"

"So who is this RK? I've not come across him yet" he frowned in curiosity.

"It's... RK. Rishabh Kundra"

Madhu noticed how his eyes widened in stunned surprise, she chewed her lower lip trying to figure out what was going on in his mind.

"I don't want you working with him" he stated coldly and turned away from her busying himself with clearing the things away.

"Karan, don't be like that" she stepped down and walked around the island to face him.

"Madhu I'm not discussing this, I don't like him and I don't want my wife working with him"

"Why?" she questioned tugging his arm stopping him from clearing up.

Karan sighed heavily pinching the bridge of his nose. "I'm not discussing this"

"Yes we are, you're going to Karan. This merging is big for me, the company, I want to grow myself Karan. I want to stand on my two feet, I've had you and Prem bhai doing everything for me" she replied. "When will you both stop trying to protect me? I don't need protecting, let me stand on my two feet"

"I'm not stopping you from growing your own set of wings Madhu but I don't want you working with Rishabh Kundra"

"It's a stupid fling that happened years ago"

"Except he took advantage of you, you were bloody 17yrs old"

"18yrs old" she reminded him. "18! I was old enough to know what was right and wrong"

"So your fling with him was right?"

"I'm not saying it was right or wrong Karan, All I'm saying is I knew what I was doing and I don't once regret it" she replied.

"You're f**king impossible" he muttered shaking his head.

"I'm your impossible" she mumbled pouting her lips with a faint smile.

"Seriously? You're using this to make me agree?" he lifted his brows.

She nodded pouting her lips even more pathetically hoping he'd give in.

"Not working Madhu. I won't agree to this at all and you know me"

"Karan come on please" she stepped closer tugging his tie.

"Madhu" he warned. "You're playing a dangerous game love"

"May be I want to play" she whispered softly seducing her husband wanting him to agree.

"I'm so going to regret this" he muttered and threw her over his shoulder making her shriek, turning off the cooker he stalked towards their bedroom slamming shut the door behind them.

"You came?" RK questioned watching as Madhu walked in tentatively. She swallowed and looked over her shoulder making sure Shaina didn't follow her or anything.

"We shouldn't be doing this" she muttered as she stood before him.

"No we shouldn't" he shook his head taking a step closer. "Yet you want to Madhu or else why would you even come?" he questioned.

She swallowed hard dipping her head down. He was right in a way, she wanted this, this hide and seek between them was so tempting and felt so wrong yet so right.

"Why did you call?" she questioned lifting her head up to look at him. She stepped back as he came forward, his arm snaked around her waist stopping her from moving back, she swallowed thickly, her chest pressed against his and he felt the thudding heartbeats of hers against his hard chest.

"You're scared?" he asked softly.

"No" she whispered shaking her head.

"Do you want this?" he asked trailing his nose along her cheek. "Me, us..." his lips pressed against her cheek. "Do you want it?" he questioned breathing against her hot skin.

"Yes" she whispered clutching his shirt. "I want it"

RK smiled moving his head back. "No strings attached, no girlfriend boyfriend, nothing but sex between us" he told her.

She looked up at him and nodded. She certainly wasn't going to make this into something bigger, she knew RK and she knew herself too well. She wasn't one to date, and he wasn't one into dating, both weren't serious, they were young and had their whole life to find someone to love, they weren't made for each other, knowing each other, they like opposites, complete opposite, they'd be a complete mismatch.

"Good" RK whispered cradling her cheek. "I've wanted to do this for so long" he muttered pressing his lips to her, she entwined her arms around his neck kissing him back just as fervently, he placed soft pecks drawing in her lower lip and nibbled, she sighed heavily in pleasure, her eyes pressed closer, her chest pressed against his, he delved into her mouth wanting to explore her secrets, he guided her backwards till he had pressed against the large white pillar, his hands sliding along her sides, he almost groaned as she traced her hands down his back stroking him, she moaned in pleasure into his mouth feeling his erection pressed against her stomach, his tongue entwined and dancing to a tune with hers, he loved how she wanted him just as much, she felt her skin tingle as he pressed against her even more, her breasts felt heavy and ached for something unknown to her, warmth surged between her legs, she parted her legs allowing him to press his leg in between, he urged her down a little, she groaned pulling her head away as he urged her to rub against his thigh.

Madhu pulled away breathing heavily, her chest heaving and her eyes pressed closed as she tried to gather herself. She pressed her palms flat against his chest and pushed gently.

"I have to go" she reminded him swallowing hard. "Shaina might call home to ask if I've reached" she spoke softly unable to bring her voice up.

He nodded. "I'll see you soon" he cupped her back pressing her against his hardness and kissed her once more.

"Karan get my phone would you?" Madhu called out from the kitchen as she plated up food for herself and Karan. Karan was already sat in the living room comfortably waiting for Madhu.

"Hmm" he hummed back and reached for her phone whilst his eyes were focused on the news. "Hello" he responded absentmindedly.

"Hi Karan"

Karan's focus drew to her phone instantly, his jaw tightened hearing the familiar voice of the one guy who slept with his wife. "RK"

"You remember me?" RK questioned mockingly.

"It's hard to forget assholes" he replied sharply.

"Karan don't get all macho on me. I'm not going after your wife" he chuckled. "Anyways is Madhu there?"

"Why?"

"That's between us"

"Cut the bullshit Kundra. You want to speak about the mergi..." he didn't finish as Madhu grabbed the phone off him and narrowed her eyes on him, she put her hand over the speaker looking at Karan. "I need this, stop being such an ass"

"He's the f**king ass" Karan scowled.

"Shush now. You want me to grow my own set of wings right?" she questioned. He sighed and turned his head back to the tv, Madhu put the phone next to her ear settling herself comfortably on his lap and gestured to his plate on the coffee table.

"Hello" She responded.

"Oh I thought I lost the signal then" RK replied. "Karan has changed a lot, he's grown a pair" he chuckled. "Seems quite..."

"And you've grown to even a bigger dickhead than I remember" she replied cutting him off.

"I see you've not lost your charm" RK laughed. "Always the feisty one"

"RK" she clipped out. "Why did you call for? Can you speak about that instead?"

"Alright fine" he sighed heavily. "Always know how to kill the joy" he shook his head. "Anyways moving on. I've talked to Adi, he suggested it's good and did mention a few things to change in terms of the contract and all so if you'd like to set up a meeting this week some time..."

"This week? And what changes?"

"We'll discuss the changes in the meeting, and yes this week because I'm going back to Canada, Shaina's wedding is soon if you remember?"

"Oh yeah" she nodded. "She sent the card. But I'm really booked this week"

"Then it could be after her wedding which is a month away" he responded.

"It's going have to be afterwards then" Madhu agreed.

"Okay, do you want me to book it or you want to make it after the month?" he questioned.

"I'll make it after" she responded. "That way it'll be easier"

"Hmm Alright then. Say bye to Karan for me"

"Get a life RK" Madhu responded shaking her head at him.

"I've got one already, thank you very much. And I was right, Karan is a bore, I was..."

"Ass" she muttered not letting him finish and cut the call as he only laughed.

"You've not touched your food?" she frowned at Karan.

"I'm not hungry" he replied dryly.

"Seriously Karan, you're going to let RK spoil your mood. He's an Ass alright and you don't be like him"

"I'm nothing like him"

"You're acting like an ass right now though" she replied grabbing his plate. "Just eat would you? Stop acting like a 5yr old kid. Seriously you men" she shook her head climbing off his lap and settled beside him with her own plate.

"Is there no one else?" he questioned.

"No one else what?" she turned her head staring at him.

"No one else to merge the company with"

"You know the deal Karan, who's going to take a risk and some aren't even happy with the contract, some demand more percentage in the company" she explained.

"I did say to merge all of ours" he reminded her.

"And who's going to be running it?" she questioned.

"You can Madhu"

"Yeah giving me baby work to do, Karan let me just work this my way alright"

"Fine fine" he sighed and dug into his food.

"Thank you" she pressed a kiss to his cheek to which he smiled.

"Thought I'd come see you before I head out on Friday" he replied taking a seat on her desk.

"That's my desk ass" she pointed.

"Yeah I noticed"

"It's not for sitting" she huffed crossing her arms. The man always seemed to rub the wrong side of her.

"You've become quite... um.. something is terribly wrong with you Madhu" he remarked.

"Oh really Dr! What's your diagnosis?" she questioned.

"Anyways if you want you can come down with me this Friday" he suggested. "Instead of booking an all and waiting, you can come with me"

"Your private plane?" she questioned.

"Yep" he nodded.

"Since that day he's hated you"

"Well I guess I can't blame him" he shrugged. "Any husband wouldn't like to know the guy who took their wife's virginity"

"You're such an ass RK" Madhu smacked his thigh.

"What?" he chuckled. "I'm only saying the truth" he leaned down, his face only mere inches away from hers. "I did..."
