I think ST is still involved, he was the one responsible for selecting Gunjan I feel, because they was an article where he said that Gunjan is the one for us, whilst AS has been friendly with Vivian and even invited him for the messages from fans at Nautanki Films and signing them and hanging on a plak, it would have been better had ST handed over one show to AS, MEIEJ, and he keep the other one RR, but I think if later on AS's land scam issue with his father comes up that tainted money was used to fund these two shows, they would be trouble for ST in that show he picked, RR, as the money was used in that too, so he would equally face problems if he took one show or stayed on with both shows as he is doing now.
What he has done is to inform that the finances he didn't know anything about in that India Forums article. Why he did that is if they is trouble later he says I was only on the creative side my co-producer sourced the finance, he was clear about that, I feel he will get away without a jail term, though he co-produced both shows and there are his shows. So it's not being a coward is saving his skin from jail, perhaps he is, or it could be he genuinely didn't know how AS was getting the money and if that's the case it is the right thing to do.
However, that tweet by Gautam he said he is not in charge of screenplay and whether he is in charge of the story, I wasn't clear about that, if he isn't because the IF article of ST's said he has taken all his CV's with him, RS and GH were mentioned. So if it's the case that AS is now doing everything with MEIEJ and ST is lying that he is still writing the story, then I agree it's cowardly yes. Taking credit for work that he is not doing.
