I was meant to make this post a few days back but didn't get time so making now:) Ab iss show ki tarif kahan se shuru karun? š After VD left, I watched it to see what dhamaka will happen post leap but I guess RM ki death was the last dhamaka this show will have. Sachi hats off to the cvs for their creativity š Was the leap supposed to turn MEIEJ into a romantic comedy? They have made the show so thanda and lead characters mein bhi dam nahi.
We have a boring male lead Abhay Kapoor š„± Just like the actor, the character is not at all impressive. Firstly, I will never understand his hatred for RK and he sounded so unreasonable when he expressed hatred for RK's daughter. What is RK's beti's fault when there is no fault of RK himself? It was Abhay's own father who threatened RK so obviously police would arrest him. But this so called caring person has no sympathy with RK whose whole family got wiped out in the blast inc his newborn daughter. So Abhay holding RK responsible for his father's death is as right as Ananya blaming him for the same. And then this character shows all his akad, attitude etc outside but at home he roams around like an abla naari with Bebe having to come to his rescue š¤£
Then we have a nautanki female lead š What is wrong with beti Madhu? Iski to mujhe samaj hi nai aati. Waise to bholi bhali babybala bohat bak bak karti hai but then Leela ke aage kyun bolti band ho jaati hai? š AK broke her glasses, her mobile and still her staring at him like some silly fangirl does not suit RK's beti. I know she cannot be RK as she has been brought up in a complete diff way but still like the talent in her blood I expected some qualities of RK in her. RK kya yeh to kabhi kabhi MB ki bhi beti nai lagti. Even senior MB would not take that from a superstar before she fell in love with him. She was mahaan but still had the guts to speak up sometimes š
So I guess all the ishq and junoon is saved for when AbLa find out their past connection and they'll hate each other? I read people think they'll want revenge but do they have reasons to take revenge from each other? RK and HK are both dead then why will there be a need to revenge? Having said all that I am disappointed with the leap. This made for each other jodi will give many sukoon but I want junoon, which cannot be expected from this couple š I really don't see the story doing justice to a powerful title like Madhubala Ek Ishq Ek Junoon š³
PS: criticism is allowed on the forum so I'm sure there is nothing wrong in my post:P
