With the age difference Ami, I think it will come up, they won't ignore it or forget to mention it, I think perhaps eventually when they relationship grows and it gets to the stage where his declaring his feelings to her, he will mention their age difference, just checking sort of if it's an issue in her mind for them being together, that sort of thing.

i know its common in entertainment industry but why not explore the situation when available

there were quite a few interesting situations they chose not to explore in season 1
