I think VD had a good relation with almost all cast n crew members. I was watching old location videos including with 4oo episode celebration.
One thin i noticed that the actor who was Amae Behl, the pruducer n culprit with kukku bhatia, was very fond of VD. It clearly visible in the video. He was actually after VD to give cake with his hand.
Also I hav seen another video where Vd was giving iv to channels, that time that actor just came behind VD n smthg told to VD to tease him. So VD just turned and pulled him back.

One doubt, in the 400 episode celebration, when vd was giving cake to Shamaji (Radhaji) she hesitated then vd told smthing, from his lip movement i felt he told her "ma khavo" He in real life also call rhadhaji as mom.
I repeated many times the vidio, i felt the same. I dont know whether it is Ma'm or Ma. but i suppose it ma only
