Hi...im madhu...im a simple girl with no dreams or any boyfriends...or blah blah blah...

It all started at 12:30 at lunch on the second day of our college...in seneior year...we started our seneior year in college...

You never fail to make me smile...

It was written in a square blue sticky note paper...

There were sticky notes pasted on my locker door everyday.And he always pastes the sticky note now and then in day...he always thinks of me...it is evident from this sticky paper notes...and I don't know when he comes and stick this papers here on my locker...He...yes I figured out he is a boy...he only wrote it that he is a boy in one of the notes...

Anyway,I just remembered there is another note stuck on my locker door.i took it and read it was...

8:05...why haven't I seen u around?Are u sick or just late?il post another note wen I see u...

I then took a pen from my locker and wrote a reply on the paper..."I was late"...I don't like ignoring people so I still respond to my sticky note boy.Its weird but I just feel like responding even if its just a note...

D:Hey...hey..! What is gng on...ahh...

Dips came running to me...

D:ohh...another note from sticky not boy aka lover boy..she winked by saying this...

M:yeah...and he is not a lover boy...

D:ya ya...correction..."Admirer"...

She then opened her locker and started talking to me..

D:well are u not happy about having an admirer...

M:no im not...

D:why not...

M:Becoz that sticky note boy is all mysterious...

D:nah...it is admirer...

Then we both went to caffeteria and sat on a table and started talking...

D:hey madhu...look back of u...

I turned around and saw...its Rk...and his gang...

M:leave it..he is a stupid...

Everyone in the caffeteria was quiet and was watching them and also dips...

M:oh hello...stop staring at them and eat...

And then they passed away...

D:do u know sikki have not talked to me for 2days...

M:you guys fought and made up...its not like u two broke up...And it's just a couple of days cant u give him space...

Si:hey dips...

From our behind came sikki my twin brother and dips boyfriend...

He came and sat beside dips and...

Si:hey sry dips I havnt talked to u from Sunday sry yar...

Then dips looked at him and smiled...

D:do u know how I felt without talking to u...

Si:im sry baby...

Then they both talked...and then I got up then suddenly I saw a paper thrown on table...the two of them dips and sikki were in their talk I don't know from where it came...then I took the paper and kept in my bag...without opening it...

Then there was an announcement from principal room about freshers day...that there is our freshers day so we all have some dances and enjoying on that day...then after the announcement I stood up and turned back to go...but suddenly I bumped into someone...

M:Oh...sorry ...by saying that I picked up my bag and walked from there without looking at the person to whom I bumped...but he answered "its alright madhu..."

Suddenly listening to that voice I stopped...it was a familiar voice I turned around and stunned and speechless...

It was Rk...the badass gang leader and college most popular handsome guy...and he is smiling at me...Not smirking but smiling...it was a friendly smile and it surprised me.In this college he had a reputation of ignoring students...

I then half smiled and turned back and walked out of caffeteria.

Dips came rushing to me...

D:Hey ...you know u r the first girl..he has ever talked directly to...

M:wt?

D:he talked to u...Rk talked to u...The Rk..madhu...the most popular guy of college talked to u...

M:oh god dips...he is an idiot...

D:hello...get used to have a boyfriend madhu...

M:no I wont...

D:ok wtever...

D:ok tell me with who r u gng to freshers party with...?

M:no one I wont go the freshers...

D:what?...no way u r coming whether u like it or not...come on get up come with me...

Now dips pulled me towards the front door to go outside...

M:wer r we gng to?

D:we r gng to the mall...

M:but...

D:no buts...

Then we headed to the mall...

After a hundred gowns and 3hrs of looking for a dress in 4stores...

M:im tired already dips...il just sit here and wath ur gowns u wear for trail and comment on it...ok

D:oh...stand up...madhu...see this...

She showed a brown ball gown...

M:that looks awsomm dips...are u gng to wear it...

D:no...its for u don't u like it...

M:ofcoure I like it...it looks beautiful...

D:come on go on and trail...'

The gown was a light brown sweetheart sleeveless ball gown and has a silver embroidery...

M:hey dips I think it doesn't look gud on me...I said it as I looked myself in full length mirror...

D:oh god come out madhu...how can I see u if u do not show me...

I slowly walked out feeling insecure...my eyes were closed an then I stopped there...i then suddenly opened my eyes and dips was looking in awe...at me...

M:ok don't look like that better il change the clothes...

D:hey no madhu...u r fabulous in that gown...go change back to ur clothes il pay for it...

Then after coming out of the mall with dress in hands...

D:you really look beautiful madhu...u made the gown look gud u know...

M:hahahaha...

It was nice to have a best friend like her...

After reaching home in my bedroom:

M:Thanks for helping me in dress up dips..

Dips made me dress up...she fixed my hair done my make up and all the girly things...

M:I cant believe we were required to wear a mask.how can people see ur face when its hidden behind a mask?

I actually didn't want go to the freshers party...im little insecure and don't want to see the students me in this dressing...

D:yes we shud wear the mask...at exactly 12 wen all of us r dancing in circles exchanging partners we must take off our partners mask...to reveal our soulmates identiity...

M:wt?must take off partners mask and he is the soulmate...wts all this...

D:yes...she giggled...

D:becoz u never went to dancve u don't know abt this..u always get locked in ur room and read books...come on now wear this mask...

M;thanks for everything dips.,...

D:no problem...

M:ok tell me one thing how ur dance partner wil be a soulmate...how do u know...

D:ok il tell u the whole story...we start dancing at 8:30.Dance with ur friends...enjoy the party and have fun.At 9:30 the DJ wud play the song and at 10:30 the DJ will make all the boys go the girl of their dreams...and ask them to dance with them...see every year the seneior year boys go dancing...and the DJ change the music and the rotation starts...

M:rotation??

D:yes the girl from right wud step to her left and dance with the boy that will be infront of her for the next few seconds then she steps to her left again and this goes on...and wen the song stops and clock strikes 12 the boy infront of u take off ur mask and then u take his off...then as everybody say you will be fated to be with each other...it is a kind os a tradition every year in freshers party...

M:hmmm...

D:it's a belief that u r destined to that person who u wil be at 12...its upto u believe or not...

M:oh hello...this is not a fairy tail to believe all these things...

Dips suddenly took a paper which is on my bed and asked..."hey wts this..."

I looked at that paper...and realized it is one of my sticky note boy paper...

I then took it from dips and read it...

Lunch I saw you at study hall...im guessing..you r just late...I want to ask u to the ball dance in freshers party but I know u wont be coming..since u never attended the college functions...

PS:I like u a lot...

D:wooohh...u kept this note and didn't told me that he likes u...

I closed her mouth quickly and...

M:ohh..no I forgot to open it so I kept it in my bag...

Then there was knock on door it was sikki then after 5mins we three reached to the party..in our car...

We entered in...

S:ok u people both of u sit here..il go there and come,...

Sikki made ud sit in a table and went away...to their friends...then after sikki gng dips stood up...

M:"wer r u gng dips...

D:im just gng to see friends...u sit here il be back...

Its been ten mins...and the two didn't come...I was nervous in the party...

Then I stood up and searched dips in the whole party and then spotted her...she was busy in some friends...then suddenly someone tapped my shoulder...I turned around and saw a boy with a black and blue mask...

M:yes wt do u want...

"Can I have a dance with u"...he asked me...

M:I don't really know u...and I don't really dance...

"But I think I know who u are"...

M:ohh u know...

"yeah"

M:I wanna go bye...I quickly saying that walked away from there...and then I sat in a table...

All were on dance floor dancing with their friends,lovers...and having fun time...But me her alone sitting...and then I looked at a wall clock there it striked 10:20...

DJ shouted...All sentence guys go get ur partners...we are going to have the circle in 90mins...i looked around again there is nothing to do its boring...for me...

Then I noticed a boy walking towards me..i looked away...he came and stood infront of me...

He was the boy I talked earlier..."hey girl do u like to dance"

M:hey boy do u know who im..

im not sure that u r the girl im thinking...then he extended his hand towards me and asked "can I have a dance with u?"

I placed my hand on his and said "sure"

He took me to the middle of the dance floor...the spot light was directly above us...I placed my hand on his shoulders and his hands were on my waist...I looked up at him.he was just staring at me with a smile..i noticed that he has beautiful blue eyes...

I asked...M:who am i?

Oh right..."u r madhubala"

M;no im not her...I smiled at him...

DJ announced now..."so lets start the circle...it was 11:30 now...

My mysterious partner led me to an empty spot.then the music started...everyone danced the same steps..

M;I don't know how to dance

"well just follow mine steps" he said...

Then change partners...i went to my left guy and danced with him...and after danced with another...

I after dancing like this with changing partners I suddenly looked at wall clock...its was a minute to 12...I glanced at left and felt my heartbeat fast..i was happy and kind of sad becoz who know the boy next will be my partner...I wanted the boy who talked to me wanted to be my last partner I don't y...Then my partner spinned me around..we r changing the partners...I happily rotated and changed towards the boy I was dancing at the beginning...and he said...

"hi...he smiled at me...Madhubala...

M:I told u im not her...

I rotated again...and...

M:how do u know that im madhu...

"Becoz she always tilts her head wen she wonders...

Meanwhile my heart best was as fast as it can beating...Is he my stiucky note boy...i doubted...

M:are u my sticky note boy...

"no im ur admirer"...he said...I nodded then everyone stopped...DJ stopped the music and announced...

"And u may now reveal u partners mask and know ur fated ones...I looked at DJ and turned to the blue eye boy...then the boy took off my mask with his hands...

His smile was now charming...and he said "I knew it will be u madhubala..."I smiled and want to run away from there but he suddenly holded my hand and pulled me towards him...and said "You can remove my mask if u want to"

M:sure...i then slowly pulled the ribbon off the mask and it has fallen down in slow motion...and he was smiling at me...

Rk:yes...

M:you r my sticky note boy..,..

RK:no ur admirer...

RK: You look like a princesss,by the way even with ur lovly talking converse...and I exchanged with the last two boys so I could be ur last dance tonight"

Then he gave me another note...and ii unfolded it and read it...

As always u looked beautiful.And like the other days I see u,you took my breath away.So il cheat on destiny and fate just to be ur last dance.Because people make their own destiny,fate doesn't choose who you are destined to...

PS:will u be my girlfriend??

I glanced at him and blushed and my cheeks became red...and I then smiled with blushing...
