Episode 477 Discussion: January 17th, 2014

Welcome to the Episode discussion thread which we call as Viewer's and Reader's Respite. That's very apt, don't you think ? 😉. And that proves our objective.

Objective behind the thread is

It helps in keeping the forum clean without much litter.
We can have it like breathers at first followed by analysis.
It also helps like-minded souls and pals bond and gel together to drop in their thoughts for themselves as breathers and for their friends as a peep into the episode and for others to post their reviews.
And those from different time-zones, who do not get to watch the episode at this time of telecast (Indian 8:30 PM), without any worry to trace or keep track of all their buddy's posts, they can come here, read with leisure and later post their analysis after watching it from their Time zones.

Also, extremist thoughts and moralizing thoughts are not welcome over this thread. This is an entertainment show we are watching. The channel calls their programs as entertainment and we are watching the show. Discussions are welcome in light hearted and in realistic manner. Moral policing is not appreciated.

There are several other social welfare sites that are there to discuss genuine issues. If for some reason, it is felt that social concerns have to be addressed and ethical and moral responsibility needs to be exercised for watching entertainment, then; certainly the forum is an open place to create separate ATs and build up that kind of propaganda.

Please heed to this as direct request and conditional requirement to participate in this thread. Strong words such as psychopaths unless used in show, need not be used to instigate riotous atmosphere or start sermonizing.

POINTERS for Writing/Posting of your reviews and thoughts over this EDT

Please try and post only reviews (which can be one liners - if you wish) on page 1.
Do not litter the thread with chit-chat conversations. A little is permitted to have the friendly atmosphere, but when you feel like chatting more and the discussion becomes irrelevant to the topic on hand, please take your conversation with your buddies to alternate venues like chat clubs, pm mode etc.
Regulate the font size and colors. Keep remembering that. It is really not pleasing to see big bolded letters, or multi-colored font for no special reason.
The thread becomes a mess when you give your review and do not REST for sometime until others have posted. Please understand, respites or reviews; once or twice are good for few pages...don't make a regular chat thread with your reiterating/whining/complaining on the same point. For the online readers, the thread becomes unpleasant read. There is a separate Complaints thread in Main Forum
When episodic content is emotional, take a deep breath, give a good lengthy review; that acts as your vent in one single post...and make an exit to calm down your nerves if you still are possessed by only what you've seen.
Quoting Policy: It is desired that people refrain from single, double, triple and multiple quoting of posts on a repetitive basis. They can pick out the parts that they like to quote as opposed to quoting the entire post. It is often seen that we have to scroll through the pages when all they have done is quoting and more quoting with one line response to the actual post. IF has a rule that more than three times quoting is not allowed. But nowadays as people read IF posts over phone, it is preferred that people do not quote longer posts and just extract the portions of the post that they like to respond to and if they still find it relevant to their thought process then get the entire quoted text.

TRPs for Week 2, Jan 5th-11th, 2014

Which may or may not be in the safe comfort zone for the channel and PH.

And like I said last week, have not put in the Top Shows chart. Until the show gets back into the 2.2 range, and is in play for the top 15, it's meaningless to do it. For those who are still interested, the current ranking is #19.

Week 2 Breakdown

1.82 - Monday, 6th Jan - 'RK aur KRK aamney-saamney' - RK gives press-conference and challenges KRK, then goes to meet him alone. Madhu, Bittuji and family are worried. RK and KRK have confrontation, and KRK prepares to secretly inject a syringe into RK.
1.91 - Tuesday, 7th Jan - Madhu arrives with police, and identifies RK by a 'Madhu' tattoo on the arm, which she explains to KRK. KRK is arrested, but Bhujang gets him bailed out. RM scene. Bhujang rages at KRK for having wasted time in talking to RK. RK gets a call from Madhu in the darkened house, and rushes downstairs, worrying that KRK has done something.
2.08 - Wednesday, 8th Jan - 'RK ka janamdin' - RK gets a surprise private birthday celebration from Madhu, Bittuji and the family. Bhujang readies KRK for the next phase. RM scene, with Madhu having arranged a kids-theme birthday party for RK. Bhujang gets KRK a 'Madhu' tattoo on the arm. At the party, Bhujang arrives disguised as a waiter. RK steps into the invited magician's box and the box-door is closed, with Madhu et al looking on worried.
2.14 - Thursday, 9th Jan - 'KRK banaa RK' - The magician opens the box, and it's empty. Madhu and family are worried. KRK-posing-as-RK appears on the stairs, with everyone thinking that was the magic trick. Madhu hugs 'RK', and he winks at Bhujang. RK is dumped unconscious at a deserted roadside and in KRK's clothes. Police get a call and go and arrest him. KRK worries for his chastity when faced by Dipali's advances and then Madhu wifely. Madhu doubts whether he's RK, but KRK shows his 'Madhu' tattoo as proof, pretends irritation and goes to sleep on the couch. RK wakes up in a jail-cell in prisoner-uniform in Bhind Central Jail. Madhu and KRK-posing-as-RK come there to meet the inspector outside, and are reassured that the imposter is in custody. KRK-as-RK tells Madhu not to doubt him again now.
1.99 - Friday, 10th Jan - 'Pinjrey mey sher' - RK tries to convince the police that he's not the imposter, but is taunted. He throws water at the guard, and the guard's superior orders he is not to be given any food.Madhu and KRK-posing-as-RK come and meet the inspector outside, and Madhu tells the inspector that 'KRK' in their custody must not come into their life again. The inspector says they have put him into solitary confinement. RK wakes and calls 'Madhu!'. KRK-as-RK tells Madhu not to doubt him again now, since they are now 'Keval Madhu and RK'. Madhu and KRK-as-RK return home, and reassure the family the problem is over. KRK uses liquor as excuse to start a private fight with Madhu and leave. RK tries again to convince the guards that he is not the imposter, but they tease in disbelief and he gets into altercation. Bhujang send his men to look for KRK. Madhu, Bittuji and family worry for 'RK' since he is not taking calls and hasn't returned home. RK-in-jail and Madhu-waiting-for-'RK' have a song-sequence while in their respective jail and room. Madhu gets a call that someone has got injured in bus-accident and had her contact-number. Madhu panics, thinking it's RK. Pabho tells Radha and then Madhu that 'RK' leaving is Madhu's fault. Madhu tells Radha she has to leave for something, and rushes out. She prays to Bappa not to let anything happen to her RK.

An upward trend through the week, but ending with dip from 2.1 to 1.9 for the 10th January episode which established RK in jail, KRK successfully taking his place and Madhu unknowing - the leads defeated and adversary successful yet again.

So week's TRP is basically 1+ range, but rounded into higher 2+ range.
In terms of track and sponsors, the TRP being in 1+ and needing to be rounded to look higher is inadequate to avoid track-modification (which has hopefully begun in the Thursday 16th Jan 2014's episode, but unsure if they'll try to backtrack yet again as in all unsuccessful previous attempts at trying to salvage viewership without drastic track-change. Fingers crossed, this time they'll carry through without the usual 'one or both leads down' theme.)

KRK babua, e toh batao, gai ne is mein dhoodh kaise diya 🤣 tht soy milk dialogue was so silly 😆 but VD looked so cute mouthing it..

intentional and unintentional comedy combined to make a fun episode..be sir pair ka but comic..MB may give competition to TMKUC soon..

@Shruti, lagta hai CVs read ur mind ..all the points which we discussed in Chakku's post were answered by CV's..KRK was feeling guilty for RM and RK's family..good to know tht he is not a gold plated character ...he is a mixed bag..

RK, Dips and Sikky were hilarious..KRK ne Dips ko diya chakma and Sikky ko kaam par laga diya..

KRK on RK's set was hilarious...

KRK with Bhujang , their convo was hilarious..e continooty kya cheej hai? 🤣 I think this vanity van belongs to VD..kahin dekha hai isko 😆 may be..in the BG of a pic which had VD, SRK and Lady VD

the heroine of RK's movie..like..really 🤣 straight away picked up from gajar ne kiya hai ishara dance troop..i think the costume was also similar. RK works with THESE kind of heroines? hadh hai NF ki, ek dhang ka side actor nahi milta..now we know how Madhu became an overnight sensation..was this RK's movie or some Bhojpuri film?

KRK's monkey dance was unimpressive..producer was equally dumb...after throwing hint par hint, nobody cud guess the secret of KRK..

Bhujang planning to get RK killed..we have hopes of a good twist...lets see , CVs can show something good...today's episode belonged to VD..this is what I was trying to say all the while..MB works on it's star power..story bhaad mein kyun na chali jaaye, we will be glued to our sets to watch VD and RM..

Precap, good move Bhujang..

Hilarious is an understatement

Pls I want to see vd dance like this again and again and again again

But why do I feel that after a hilarious and light week we are off to a major twist and lots of crying soon

Anyways like charu said and I agree Bhaad mein jaaye story ( anyways it's in Bhaad only since the start of heroine track ) -- we love vd , dd and rm

I loved krk -- but I hated him also -- I am conphuused u c

But I miss my rk sooo much
Pls bring back my arrogant , rude , attitude Wala rk back soon

P.s -- seeing rks movie banner --made me happy an nostalgic

Mr KRK if u r feeling so guilty for ur deeds than instead of asking for forgiveness from God why can't you help Rishbala to come out of this mess.Madhu ka kia kehna she belief that she is staying with the right person just some odd voice are disturbing her wake up from your sleep Miss Madhu , i don't know how she will face RK after this but i know RK won't say anything to her instead he will pamper her.Shooting scene Nautanki from where did you get this heroine.No comment on the dance.So another Muftkhor is added to the lost list of Muftkhor who is none other than our very own Bhujang Bhai.So this is his plan i think he don't want to work anymore so he want to live his life on RK's money his intention is not to destroy RK's but to earn money without doing anything,So now he planned to kill RK and to make KRK permanent RK.So that he can earn money by doing movies and pass some heavy amount to Bhujang.Why i have this feeling that RK will now go to his second fav. home after jail i.es hospital from where he will run away since there is no other he can escape from that jail no one belief him so no help from outside only way is to run away.About Precap Now Kukuji will enter RK manison,and no one will feel anything that something is wrong with RK when he will allow Kuku to stay there,i must say what a dumb family anyone can come and fool them.

so finally KRK is aware of bhujang's plan! looks like now is the time he will change his loyalties and will help rk-madhu and then die. that's the only possible end to this track anyway 😆

basically mazza aaya. hope maza aata rahega. warna MEIEJ 'sayonara' 😆

Well the episode was hilarious but really OTT at places 😆.
Krk was pheeling bad for RM 🤔 oh yeah really then why the hell were u winking around grinning at Rk, Mr. Milkholic 😆
Crass shooting scene, it reminded me of an outrageous Bhojpuri song 'Bhauji layin darjan (dozen) bhar kela, khao cheel-cheel (twice)'😆comic quotient was good though.

But on a serious note the Bhujju-KRK phone convo gave me some really -ve vibes (it was tend to) but i am feeling(yes yet again i am using too much brains 😆 ) that by any chance are they heading towards a Leap 😲 i mean they are keen to cash in on this Dupe track so what if while trying to kill Rk he dies for the world but returns after a couple of yrs (with memory loss 😆 like many wanted) nd in the mean time Krk reveals the truth, out of guilt.
Even i never feel content watching a Rk less epi but still its high time they start writing full fledged tracks instead of episodes.

P.S.- Don't throw chappals plz..!😆trust me my sky high hopes wali predictions always go wrong 😆

very funny epi..vd was at his hilarious best as krk..😆krk behaved as a complete joker all through the epi and yet no one doubting him 😆all dumbos in mb land.🤣sincerely hoping of pardafash of krk next week..😆madhu..please grow up..so many hints and still no doubt on your mind..😕what next..rk in hospital or unexpected twist..hoping against hope that rishbala gets reunited next week..😊

we want next week twist should be madhu go to meet Rk in jail & find out truth she is find he is real Rk she leave Rk from jail here Bhujan will try to entry of Kukubhatia with help of KRK but this will not happen bcz real Rk came in Rk mansion nobody will be knowing only MADHU & RK will know everthing than see our TRP will up Cv wake up we want to see Rishbala together

Plzzz don't give such weird ideas to Cvs,I can't imagine Rk's death even for a single second.He should die at the end of the show not now.
