RK, unmindful of the lurking danger, strolls in to his room. He halts upon seeing his beautiful wife lounging on his favorite chair.

RK (smiling): Biwi! Bittuji just told me that you were at the studio. Sorry you missed me sweetheart. You know I have been trying to call you to tell you to not go to there. Hmm...but nevermind...you're here now. (Mischievous twinkle in his eyes) So you just had to see me, huh? Ahaan. I like it. (Walking forward with arms open wide) Take your fill in love. (Winks) I am all yours.

Madhu slowly stands up and faces RK. The approximate 20 minute wait did nothing to cool down the burning fire in her eyes. She approaches RK and jabs his chest furiously.

Madhu: When the hell will you grow up RK?!?

RK (shocked): Huh? What did I do now? (Scowling) I did try to call but your blasted phone was turned off! You can't blame me for that?!?

Madhu (snaps): I am speaking of Shaan and Reena!

RK stiffens up and eyes Madhu warily.

RK (carefully): What about them?

Madhu (furiously): What about them? You ask...what about them?!? How could you RK?!?

RK: How could I what?!?

Madhu (yells): ALLOW REENA TO MARRY THAT SCUMBAG!!

RK (shrugs): It's her life and she's an adult. So she can take any decision that suits her. Plus why should I care about her?

Madhu (slightly pushes RK): You damn well should care RK! She's your sister!

RK (standing his ground and yells back): SHE'S NOT MY SISTER DAMMIT! She's a Sharma...so of no relation to me!

Madhu: She is your sister. She is YOUR mother's daughter! She gave birth to her just as she gave birth to you. That makes her your sister! Like it or not...you are linked to each other through maa, you share the same blood! If not for brotherly affection, you should have taken steps to protect Reena for your mother's sake!

RK: What the hell am I supposed to protect...

Madhu (interrupts): You knew about Shaan and his licentious, lecherous ways! (Pushes RK again and he staggers back) Yet you still let them get married. He's still chasing after girls! Smooth talking them into spreading their legs so he can have his fun! He's been doing it right in front of your eyes RK! You should have never even allowed Shaan near Reena! At the very least, you should have objected to their marriage.

RK gains his footing and stands his ground. Cold fury emanating from every fiber of his being. A sher in his own rights, he is not an easy prey for his sherni.

RK: Reena is not a child anymore! She chose to come to the studio, her decision. I am sure she also willfully ignored Shaan's faults because he paid her a compliment or two and charmed her! And for your kind information, she's not my damn sister! She may be my mother's daughter but that doesn't make her my sister. A Sharma can never be my family! Do you understand? Even then...I sent Bittuji to her to warn about that jackass but she refused to hear him. So don't you dare lay the blame at my feet if she married him!

Madhu grabs RK's shirt and shakes him till he pries her fingers loose. She shakes her head in disgust and steps away from him.

Madhu: Do you hear the words coming out of your mouth?!? It's horrendous and so bloody irresponsible! You want to have kids? Well let me tell your Mr. Rishab Kundra, you are NOT ready for it! You don't understand or value relationship. If you did, you would have never treated YOUR SISTER so reprehensibly. Indeed you have always been horrid to her and you still are! All because what? She's a Sharma?!?

RK (scowls): Biwi...us having children has nothing to do with Reena! Don't you dare use this as an excuse!

Madhu (snaps): I am not done Mr. Rishab Kundra! You are still that 12 year old child angry because your mother remarried. You have always been resentful that she is happy with her new family. A family that you thought didn't include YOU! But the Sharmas, as you like to keep calling them, have been nothing but kind and understanding to you! Papa has waited patiently for you to acknowledge him as a HUMAN BEING, much less a father figure! When he married maa he also took you in as a family. But you were and still are just too damn stubborn to see him for the wonderful man that he is! Too damn stubborn to see that he makes maa happy! Too damn stubborn to see that he loves you despite all your faults!

RK (runs his hands through his hair in agitation): That's not...

Madhu (interrupting): I am still not done! Reena has always thought of you as her elder brother even though you do not. She adores and respects you. If you had said just ONE word against Shaan, she would have dumped him! Just one damn word! But no...you were just too selfish to care.

RK (feeling a twinge of guilt, sputters): Brother...or no brother...I...I didn't have the right to interfere. She...was an adult!

Madhu: Excuses Mr. Rishab Kundra! Just bloody, palty excuses! Reena blindly loves and worships you but you are not worthy of that love!

RK (yells): FINE...MAYBE I SHOULD HAVE TOLD HER ABOUT THE SCUMBAG AND HIS ****CAPADES! But what the hell do you want me to do now? She's pregnant with that man's child. You still want me to go tell Reena that her BELOVED husband is nothing but an adulterous leech sleeping his way through the female population?!?

A loud, feminine gasp fills the room as Madhu and RK swivel their heads toward the door. One look into the newcomer's stricken eyes, they knew the cat's out of the bag.
