Chapter-25

Inside the car

RK was trying hard to talk to her but she was not in the mood. RK really wanted to interact with her. So he initiated the conversation.

RK(not looking at her and showing his anger): "Madhu I want you took air tickets to Mumbai"

Madhu(confused): "Air tickets?"

RK: "We have to attend Sikki's wedding rite"

Madhu: "For that we are supposed to use road rite I mean we are going by car I think"

RK: "No it's a long journey and I cant risk Maasi's health"

Madhu: "Chief I think you are over reacting. Its just a 3 hr journey"

RK: "Madhu I don't want your smart mouth in this. Just do what I say"

Madhu: "Chief I think we should ask Maasi"

RK: "Is she your Maasi?"

Madhu: "No"

RK: "Then do what I say"

Madhu: "But Chief"

RK: "Enough"

Madhu to herself: "Saddu I don't know why is he angry with me?"

RK to himself: "How dare she ignore me? ME? THE RISHAB KUNDRA?"

Rest of the journey went in silence. They soon reached the Mansion.

Maasi: "Aa gaye aap log. Wait a second. Here have the Prasad"

Madhu: "Prasad?"

Maasi(excitedly): "Manager called me"

Madhu: "Oh Maasi so sweet"

Saying this she hugged her and she took the Prasad. RK came to maasi to take the Prasad.

Maasi: "Did you say thanks to her?"

RK to himself: "Thanks my foot. I agree she helped me but that doesnt mean that she can show attitude to ME."

Madhu to herself: "Thanks? And RK? Sun will rise from West if he says that. Don't know why he is behaving weirdly and then when he behaved properly to me? Oh God I cant understand this man one time he is sweet the next he is mad at me... Grrr"

Maasi: "What Chotu? You have to say thanks. Say it na"

RK(irritated): "What Maasi?"

Maasi: "Tell me you will say her Thank you"

RK(finally losing the temper): "Fine I will tell her Thanks abb kush"

Madhu to herself: "This is just to fob off Massi I know and he wont say thanks I know"

RK went near to say her thanks but again she left the place before he could say anything by giving excuse "I am tired and I thought of taking rest"

RK to himself: "Again she left showing her back without even hearing what I want to say"

Suddenly RK's mobile started ringing and he picked up saying who the hell is this.

RK(turning towards Maasi): "Maasi I have arranged for the party and please reach there along with Madhu and I have an important work now."

Maasi: "Are you not taking Madhu along with you?"

RK(controlling his temper): "No Maasi she is taking rest and let her take that."

Maasi: "Beta its almost 5 and how the party... if you... I mean party?"

RK: "The party starts around 10 and I will reach by then. See you Maasi"

After bidding bye to Maasi he left the Mansion to finish his work.

Maasi to herself: "I did this much planning but nothing worked and its time for some action"

She tiptoed to RK's room and she kept an envelope on his room making sure that in any means he will surely see that.

Maasi to herself: "Rishab Kundra I promise you this party will change your life and you will remember this night forever."

After checking the room once again she left the room as it was earlier and she left to her room.

She took her mobile and called someone.

Sikki: "Maasi, What happened? Any improvement?"

Maasi: "Sikki I have made a superb plan"

Sikki: "Oh Maasi after long I am hearing some good news"

Maasi: "Listen carefully about my plan..."

Sikki: "Maasi do you think this will work?"

Maasi: "This will definitely work"

Sikki: "Maasi how can you so sure?"

Maasi: "Coz today after both of them returned I saw something in Rishu's eyes like anger"

Sikki: "What's big deal in this Maasi? He always is angry"

Maasi: "I mean a different type of angry like something you expect but that didn't happen"

Sikki: "You mean"

Maasi: "I guess his ego is hurt and I hope by Madhu"

Sikki: "But will it lead to..."

Maasi: "Oh Come on Sikki don't forget excess anger towards a person will always lead to junoon wala love towards that person"

Sikki(shyly): "Like Trishna"

Maasi: "Sikki! We are talking about Rishu"

Sikki: "Sorry Maasi and Maasi how's RK?"

Maasi: "He left around 5 saying he has some work"

Sikki: "OK Maasi and I think we should hang up now and Maasi please call me after the party"

Maasi: "Eager for news"

Sikki: "Very eager Maasi"

Maasi: "Bye Sikki"

Sikki: "Bye Maasi"

Saying this they hung up the phone.

At 8:30

Madhu was deciding about what she should wear for the party when suddenly she heard a knock on the door.

Madhu: "Yes Patil"

Patil: "Ma'm Maasi asked for you"

Madhu: "OK I am coming"

Madhu came to Maasi's room.

Madhu: "Maasi you called me"

Maasi: "Yes Beta. Please come"

Madhu: "Thankyou Maasi"

Maasi: "Madhu I want you to wear this saree and this jewellary for today's party"

Madhu: "But Maasi"

Maasi: "I want my angel to look special in today's party"

Madhu(not liking the idea): "The theme for today's party is western and I think Chief wont like me wearing saree"

Maasi(shocked): "And you expect me to wear western like Modern Maasi"

Madhu(thrilled): "Nice idea Maasi. Imagine youself in jeans and tops with glares"

Both started laughing at their own comment.

Maasi: "Chal Badmaash"

Madhu: "Maasi its about to be 9 and I guess I should go and get dressed"

Maasi: "Madhu I want you to meet a person"

Madhu: "Who maasi?"

Maasi: "My friend and her son is coming for the party to meet me and since I am alone you will give me company and I will introduce you to them"

Madhu: "Ok Maasi and let me get ready"

Saying this she left Maasi's room

Around 9:30

Maasi was about to go to the hall when her phone started buzzing

Maasi: "What is it Sikki? I told you I will call after the..."

Sikki: "Maasi What is Rishu doing here? He was supposed to be there and how come he is here?"

Maasi(shocked): "WHAT?"

Sikki: "Yes"

Maasi: "Did you talk to him?"

Sikki: "He came here dropped Santhosh and he left."

Maasi: "Santhosh?"

Sikki: "Madhu's brother"

Maasi: "RK dropping Santhosh and saying me important work and leaving...Oh God I never thought this... YES this is working as expected even though I didn't plan this"

Sikki: "I don't get you Maasi"

Maasi: "Sikki I will call you after the party"

Sikki: "OK bye Maasi"

Maasi: "Bye"

*************

At 10:00

Maasi: "Patil, we both are leaving for the party and if Rishu comes tell him I have kept a dress for him."

Both the ladies left for the party

After 15 mints RK reached the mansion

RK: "Patil, where is Maasi?"

Patil: "Chief, Ma'm left with Madhu ma'm"

RK: "Ithni Jaldi"

Patil: "Chief, time is 10:20"

RK(shocked): "WHAT?"

Patil: "Chief ma'm told that she has kept dress for you in your room"

RK: "Thanks"

RK went to his room and he took the dress and was about to move towards washroom when he felt something on his foot. When he saw it was an envelope and he quickly grabbed and opened it. He tilted the envelope and found a foto and a letter. He read the letter.

RK(angrily): "This cant happen MADHU"
