Sikky on phone "Where are you?.Listen I will be waiting near Agarwal sweet shop.Do meet me there". He then tells the taxi driver to stop in front of the lamp post opposite the sweet shop.After paying the taxi fare he waits for his friend. After waiting for half an hour,he looks around for his friend but doesn't find him.He gets irritated and again calls him "Where the hell are you?from when i have been hearing on my way on my way,will reach there in 5mins...looks like your 5mins doesn't seem to end.From half an hour i have been waiting for you.If you don't come within 10 mins then i'm going to Muku's place alone".Bored of waiting for his friend, Sikky joined the crowd gathered outside a TV showroom adjacent to the sweet shop who were watching a cricket match from a LCD TV mount on the wall inside the showroom...The crowd used to cheer when a boundary was hit and made frowning face when a wicket fell and some even went discussing about how the batsman should have played the shot.Few mins later,a person comes and stands next to Sikky and asks "Buddy what's the score?".Deeply engrossed in the match,Sikky replies "133 for 2".Sikky recognises the familiar voice and turns around to see a man with a gentle smile in tapered blue jeans and a black T shirt...He was sporting scruffy beard and long shaggy hair style.Sikky first gave a friendly punch on his shoulder and with a regular hug and tells teasingly "Welcome royal highness Rishab Kundra.I have never waited this long even for my girlfriend like i have waited for u...old habits die hard haan"."Well...I was..."."Oh let it be.Don't give any lame excuses.I know you very well".Rishab was notoriously unpunctual...The people who know him tease him that he had the inborn talent of arriving late.Even his arrival in this world was late.He was born a week after the due date.
Surprised seeing his look,Sikky says "Buddy look at yourself man.what happened?This long hair and that shabby beard." "Nothing buddy.just felt like keeping a beard...so"replies Rishab smiling . Sikky didn't bother to ask further as he knew that it may be due to his laziness or don't care about my look attitude."Lets hit the bar" Sikky says pointing towards Clinton bar at the opposite lane."You called me all way down to drink...you lied to me" RK gets annoyed."I was getting bored at home and want to enjoy my friend's company". "But we were going to visit Mukund's place right."asks Rk in bewilderment."No man we will go there but later.I called him and he told me that he's left office and will reach home within an hour.So thought about spending time here"."Ok...But you will be paying...I'm short of money"."It's fine".Both cross the road and enter Clinton bar. Sikky orders for two pints of chilled beer.RK congratulates Sikky on his engagement with Trishna."And my best friend didn't attend. Mukund came" frowns Sikky."Oh come on Sikky,don't act haan i had informed the reason,my cousin's wedding which was on the same date"."It's ok Rishu i was just teasing you but if you miss my wedding then i will murder you" warned Sikky. "Will never dare to".Sikky and his long time girlfriend Trishna's wedding date was fixed and it will be six months later in the month of May.The bar waiter serves them.Sikky jokes "Koob jamega rang jab mil baitenge teen.Sikky,RK aur beer".While sipping beer,Sikky tells "You are a hard man to reach haan.I called you thrice today"."I saw the missed calls...I was taking shower when you called"."I then called at your home...Your dad picked up the phone and told me that you were not at home.He did sound a bit..."Sikky takes a pause while saying. Rishab replies "a bit rude"."No not rude..but upset"Sikky promptly replies."He might not be upset.He might be happy now" RK replies in an assured manner.Sensing RK and his father might have got into another argument,Sikky tries to explain him "Don't be so rude man. Afterall he is your father.He is your well wisher.It's you who have been misunderstanding him".Sikky and Mukund knew very well about RK and his father's relationship which was not normal. RK is the only son of Mohan and Radha Kundra. Being their only son he is the apple of mom's eye.According to Rishab,for his father he is the biggest mistake of his life. Sikky asks "What happened in Kundra family?the same old fight kya?"
