The crme de la crme of Tellyland graced the red carpet for the Golden Petal Awards that were held during the weekend
The in-house Colors' awards saw the actors in their best and worst on the starry night.
Joining TV actors were Bollywood divas Madhuri Dixit-Nene, Huma Qureshi, Preity Zinta and Karan Johar. Our cameraman also caught the drama queens like Drashti Dhami, Seema Mishra, Tina Dutta, Rashmi Desai and their dishy looking halves - Vivian DSena, Gaurav Chopra, Punit Pathak, Siddharth Shukla of telly world.
We screened them with a lot of scrutiny and have come to the conclusion that a lot of them need to change their wardrobe with immediate effect. It's not a nice thing to wear bling and force attention at the red carpet, no?
Anyway we give you a list on who looked bad and who managed to pass our critical views. Read on...
The Good
Anil Kapoor wore his designer embroidered suit to represent his new crime series 24. Drashti Dhami played it safe with the pink border glitter saree. Even though it looked like the cheaper version of Kareena Kapoor Khan's saree, the actor carried it well. Gaurav Chopra stuck to the black bow-tie suit, which complimented his height. Although we think the actor has put on some weight. Huma Qureshi was at the awards to promote Dedh Ishqiya; the actor looked simple and elegant.
Rohit Khurrana looked every bit dishy, but even better looking was the girl he walked around with as his arm candy. Madhubala's Seema Mishra like Drashti kept it simple but glittery in her orange saree teamed with a golden sequined blouse. Sumona Chakravarti looked every bit classy in her denims, suit, black top and the golden jewellery. Tisca Chopra was the best in the lot in her purple silk saree and Suhani Pittie jewellery. Choreographer Punit Pathak looked super smart in his brown Indian jacket. We like!
