So, I'm back. I don't know if any of you noticed but I went missing for a few days while my finals went on. Just finished today. I haven't yet watched any of the episodes yet, but I did download them for VMs (I can bet anyone anything that someone sooner or later will be requesting an RK-Ria VM. And when that time comes, I'm ready with the episodes.) I did skim through the episodes though.
Just going to state what I think so far.
I think Ria's pretty. I like her carefree nature, but just knowing that the CVs brought her in and plan to make her negative is ruining this. Had she just been a nice friend of RK's, I wouldn't have minded too much because I actually think she's cool in some odd way. Maybe because she's literally the female RK from way back when we had a hatred relationship between RK-Madhu.
Speaking of RK-Madhu. What. Is. Going. On. Between. Them.
I miss like a week's worth of episodes and their relationship is literally on the edge of a cliff right now. All it needs is a light push and it'll go over the edge. And that's what Ria's for. The push.
I'll be completely honest. I forced myself to lose interest in the show over the past week. It got to the point where I banned my parents from watching the show when I was in the room. And if they didn't listen to me, I'd leave the room. That was mostly to avoid extra unnecessary stress while I was in the middle of final exams.
Anyways, after skimming through the episodes and getting a taste of what I've missed. I picked up on something.
Doesn't it seem like RK misses Madhu? His Madhu? What I mean is, that in RK's eyes, his Madhu has changed. He doesn't see his sherni Madhu anymore, he sees the world's superstar Madhubala standing before him. So he misses her and because of that he's found solace in Ria. How? Well, I'm not going to say that Ria and Madhu are similar, because they're far from that. But in RK's eyes, he sees bits of his Madhu in Ria. Her same stubborn attitude, the way she's not interested in him, the way Ria supports him and helps him, the way he can open up to Ria, the whole Mr. India thing (Ria literally put thoughts of Madhu in his mind), RK and Madhu's first hug where she ran into his arms but he gently pushed her away (just like RK and Ria's first hug), the way she resists him and struggles to get free when he grabs her arm, her same cheery self, and their unique friendship. Though Ria and Madhu are far from similar, they're similar to RK in many aspects. It's unconscious in him though. He's not constantly meeting Ria because in his mind she resembles Madhu, he's meeting her because unconsciously he sees his Madhu in her.
It's when a guy believes his girl has changed, and he finds the girl he had once fallen in love with in another girl, that he begins to become attracted to that other girl unknowingly.
In other words, RK thinks Madhu's changed. He unconsciously sees Madhu in Ria. He's unknowingly becoming attracted to Ria.
The signs are there as well of RK's new attraction. The way he's distancing himself from Madhu. The way he spends more time with the new girl than with his own wife. The way he'd rather find comfort in his friend than in his wife. The way their talking and contact has come down to a minimal.
All those signs are just something I learnt from experience.
We all already know that Ria just plans to use RK for success however. I have a feeling that when he finds that out, it'll be too late. In other words, he'll be so distant from Madhu that it'll be nearly impossible (I'm saying nearly, because everyone knows that the CVs will have Madhu forgive RK easily) for RK to get Madhu to forgive him. It'll be the moment that Ria ditches him that he'll realize his mistake. That's when we'll get a track where RK puts his life into winning back his biwi.
Anyways, this entire post is just my opinion and prediction. Everyone's free to their own opinion. I'm not saying you all have to agree. Besides, I may be way off...I haven't been keeping up to date with the episodes at all.
