Poluk, my post is more of a wish too😉. I don't want Paabo to turn negative. There are enuf negative characters already and positive ones keep getting in short supply as they get butchered or go MIA like Madhu's family!

Also, there are not very many characters that RK allows to get closer to him and Paabo is one of them. The CVs just ruined MK's image and hopefully are bringing another character into play on RK's side to counteract the damage done in the earlier track.

If Paabo does get negative, this would only serve to emphasize a strong Madhu and gain more sympathy for her character. If she is bearing down hard on Madhu and appearing unreasonable in her expectations at the moment, Paabo has a thing or two to learn as well. I am not sure which way Paabo's character is headed yet. To me she seems an amalgamation of both positive (love for RK) and negative (extreme rules for Madhu) right now.

On a humorous side, let's see who wins the round of giving better lectures😉 - Madhu or Pabbo?

I think a character like Pabo, a conservative head strong lady can never be tagged as a positive character by the young generation (not that I am this much old) ...

She's an elderly person & they are into a habit of invading privacy & haq jatana...specially these kinds who love their son more than anyone else..for them, the DILs doesn't stand a chance, chahe woh Queen Victoria ho ya Sati savitri...I'll give Pabo some time..I think she is testing Madhu...she is not one of those cunning manipulative women who can hurt anyone deliberately...specially if it goes against the interest of their children...I like her...We needed one such character here.

Madhubala has always been hatke in this context...if they showed saas bahu, its hatke here..they didn't make Madhu the typical sacrificing submissive soap bahu 👏

Nice post Shruti! But when did she poison RK's mind against madhu?? Did I miss anything? I hope RK gives her a shut up call..

I am liking Pablo's presence as she is sure to get TRPs but her views are pre-medieval.. I don't understand such women..hate them.. What do they want? Their sons to be divorced or leading an unhappy marital life.. .??

@bold - I agree.

@blue - Dips, I can term as outright negative as she has an evil intent to hurt and harm. Pabbo, on the other hand, not yet.

I might have to eat my words tomorrow, but I will be very surprised if she aligns herself with Dips, especially after seeing -

1. the welcome (or not) she received from Dips...😆,

2. Dips' dance act in her audition dvd, which I am positive Pabbo considers cheap..😃, and

3. the fact is probably not hidden from her that Dips has jilted her son, RK in the past (I am assuming if Rji knows about it, so does Pabbo)...😉.

na Anita, that's not possible..She will not align with Dips, and for what reason? right now , she's likeable bec. she can see through Dips and the Bhatia's...

she hasn't done anything which went against the interests of RK...she may have felt jealous that Madhu has taken her position in RK's life but that's normal after marriage...

what Pabo told Madhu may have sounded like a pre medieval thought but it was not a bad tip..just that it was over dramatized with the heavy dialogues on adarsh bahu...it's better that ghar & aurton ki chic chic doesn't reach men bec. they really don't know how to tackle these issues , they have nothing to contribute nor can they solve these problems so it's better that they stay out of it BUT there should be no rigid rule ..as per circumstances, the wife can share her problems with her husband, afterall he's her biggest support...one can exercise their judgement...Pabo can go on giving lectures on adarsh bahu but what husband and wife do in their bedroom is entirely their business...nobody has the right to dictate the terms and conditions there..it's b/w them..

Agreed. It would be in very bad taste if she aligns herself with Dips after knowing the facts stated above. That would go against every grain of maternal instinct.

It would also show Paabho in a dumb light because Dips as such has not been shown as a very smart person. She thinks she is smart but all her plans fall flat because of her lack of foresight and inability to anticipate the cause and effect of her actions.

And Paabho making her an ally would not speak highly of her.

What I felt was that she has started hiving subtle hints with her expressions and body language that she is irked with MB.

Like saying in front of RK that you did not tell him that I cooked for him and her overall demeanour was of displeasure. When RK was praising MB after coming back from shooting she looked as if she is made to swallow a bitter pill.

That is why RK correctly guessed that she was the cause of MB's discomfiture and tried to explain to her that MB is his life and strength and he cannot stay without her.

And regarding the lines in bold such women are on a holy crusade to make their son's lives heaven (as per them) and end up making the poor fellow's life hell.😆
