CHAPTER 21
''Madhuuu...'' RK screamed. He couldn't just believe what has happened. What just happened to his Madhu a short while ago. RK was left shocked seeing Madhu's face which was soaked with blood. He didn't waste a second, he rushed to the hospital taking Madhu in his arms.
RK was standing outside restlessly to know about Madhu's condition. The doctor came out. '' Doctor, how is Madhu? She is ok right?'' ''Mr. Kundra, she is in a very critical condition.'' RK was left shocked. '' But don't worry, we are trying our best.'' ''By the way, have you informed Miss. Madhu's family?'' ''Uh.. not yet doctor.'' ''Better inform them soon. And don't worry.'' RK kept numb.'' Madhu is in a critical condition? am I responsible for her condition? But I..''
''Chief! what happened to Miss Madhu?'' It was Bitto ji who rushed in to the hospital after RK's phone call. '' She is in the ICU.'' RK spoke in a low tone. ''What? Is she serious? Oh God!'' Bitto ji noticed his chief's worried face. He seemed to be very upset. ''Chief, everything is ok nah?'' RK didn't reply. He was suffering from the thought that he is responsible for all of these. ''Chief we have to inform her family! But.. but we haven't got any contact numbers except Miss. Madhu's mobile number! urgh! then call her company & inform them!'' RK was really in a tensed mood. He was guilty about what he did to Madhu in the morning.
''What? Oh No!'' Trishna was left with a huge shock after she got to know about Madhu. ''Baadi ma, why?'' Rithu who was next to her was confused. Trishna wason the way, driving off to home after picking up Rithu from her school. ''Is she ok? please tell me is Madhu ok? & which hospital? oh ok I'll be there soon! Thank you!'' ''Baadi ma! Please tell me what's wrong with you? and.. and you asked about mommy? why? what has happened to her?'' Trishna forgot little Rithu was there. She knew that this little soul will be surely terrified if she will tell about her mom. ''uh.. no. Nothing to worry Rithu.'' Trishna was stucked in a big problem, whether to tell it to Rithu or not. She took a turn, changing the route to the hospital. ''Baadi ma, where are we going?'' Little Rithu asked. She had already noticed that this was not their usual route to home.
Trishna didn't have any other option than telling the truth about Madhu to her little girl. But she was worried how will Rithu react. Trishna didn't even disclose about Madhu to Padmini, knowing her health issues. She knew that Padmini won't be able to bear such a shock. ''Please baadi ma, tell me!'' Rithu asked in a worried tone. ''Um darling, you are a strong girl nah, promise me you won't get scared! '' ''No Baadi ma! you know nah! Rithu is a brave girl!'' Rithu giggled. But how could Trishna tell this little angel that her mom is receiving treatment in the hospital looking this cute giggling face?
''Rithu.. we are going to the hospital.'' ''Hospital? but why?'' ''Um.. darling mommy is a little bit sick. So we are going to see her.'' Trishna didn't tell about the accident at once.'' Mommy is sick?'' Rithu made a sad face. '' Don't worry she'll be fine soon! She need to be treated nah, for her illness. After that she'll be fine & will be back home soon & we can have fun.'' ''Hmm.. I hope my mommy gets well soon! I'm praying for her!'' Trishna's eyes were filled with tears. This little innocent soul loves her mom so much. Trishna just hoped everything is gonna be fine soon.
Trishna & Rithu reached the hospital. Little Rithu spotted her superhero at the hospital. ''RK!!'' Rithu screamed with happiness. ''Rithu.. uh!'' Trishna saw RK who was sitting outside the ICU. ''Oh no! why didn't this get in to my mind earlier?'' What will happen if he asks about Rithu! & Madhu..? I messed up all! I should have dropped Rithu at home!'' Trishna self thought. '''RK.. RK..'' She ran towards him. RK was surprised to see this little girl. He recollected about her whom he have met twice before. ''Yay! you are here!'' Rithu's face was filled with excitement. She has almost forgotten about her mom.
''Hey sweetie, you here?'' RK took her in to his lap. ''Hmm yeah, my mommy is not well. So we came to see her.'' ''Aww.. really sorry to hear about her. How is she now? I don't know. I didn't see her yet.'' Trishna saw RK & Rithu. She walked towards them, praying everything to be fine soon. ''Uh.. Rishabh'' Trishna spoke slowly. RK heard a familiar voice. He noticed Trishna behind. She called him ''Rishabh'' which she used to call in the past. RK went through memories, Trishna being a supportive sister, always helped Madhu & Rishabh in their relationship.
''Baadi ma..'' RK was confused Rithu calling Trishna, ''Baadi ma..'' ''Hey my superhero, meet my baadi maa Trishna!'' Rithu smiled. ''Trishna? Baadi maa? What's going on? & this little girl?'' ''uh, can we talk a little bit alone? Trishna made up her mind to tell the truth. She couldn't keep that as a secret anymore.'' I can't hide about Rithu anymore. I need to reunite this little family. On behalf of Rithu! Yes, I should tell the truth to him.'' Trishna self thought. ''uh.. yes.'' RK agreed but yet confused. ''Rithu.. darling you sit here for a little. I need to talk to your superhero. But why? I can't stay here alone. Rithu.. be a good girl.'' RK noticed this little girl is not letting her aunt go. '' Ok sweetie, I will talk with your baadi ma & come soon. Then we can spend plenty of time. Ok?'' '' Promise? Yes! Ok I'll stay here then, but come soon ok?''
Trishna took RK to a corner. ''Rishabh, how is Madhu? She is alright nah? I can't ask about her in front of that little angel. She will be terrified. ''Uh.. she is not in a good condition. But don't worry doctors are doing their best! But he was still confused with Rithu. Why is that little child should worry about Madhu? Is that little girl Madhu's child? but how come? She is not married yet!'' RK's mind was filled with lot of questions. '' Umm.. I'm sorry Trishna, I think I'm the responsible for what happened to Madhu today.'' He recollected the incident happened in the studio. '' Rishabh, no that's not your fault. It's not Madhu's fault either. Destiny was cruel for both of you and for Rithu.''
''What are you talking about Trishna? I can't understand anything. How come that girl related to me & Madhu? ''Uh.. because..'' Trishna was nervous. ''Because she is the symbol of you & Madhu's love. Rithu is your daughter Rishabh!'' Finally Trishna could collect her words. ''What?'' RK didn't expect this from Trishna. "Rithu? My daughter?'' ''But.. RK recollected the past memories which they spent loving each other madly. ''Madhu carried & gave birth to my child?'' But why the hell she didn't tell me Trishna? Why?'' RK looked back. Little Rithu was eagerly waiting for him. He could see her innocent eyes which resembled Madhu. Her cute little face was just like him.
''Rishabh.. Trishna wanted to unfold the history. But in a second Rishabh was disappeared. He was running towards his little girl. ''Rithu..'' ''Yay! my superhero is coming!'' ''Rithu..'' RK hugged his daughter tightly. He showered her with kisses. ''Rithu! my darling! how come I didn't know about you before! my angel.'' RK kept hugging her. Rithu was a little bit confused with her superhero's behavior. But she loved his company. ''I'm your daddy Rithu..'' RK smiled wiping his tears. ''Daddy? my daddy? But.. but my mommy told her that he is far far away & won't come to me ever! No I'm your daddy Rithu..! & I won't leave you forever!' Baadi ma.. is this true? Is my superhero my daddy?'' Trishna went down her knees near little Rithu. I'm sorry darling for hiding about your daddy. Yes your superhero is your daddy!''
''You are very bad baadi ma..! why did you hide about my daddy? & mommy too! both are really really bad! Rithu made a face. '' Forgive your baadi maa Rithu..'' RK smiled. ''Yay! I met you! well, really my prayers have been answered. So my superhero is my super daddy!'' She hugged her dad tightly.
