What I loved most about the epi was the contrast between two brothers.
If you look at it, SS does not really share any relationship with Madhu except that they were friends before. They are no longer. That relationship snapped that day when he realised "kitna bewakoof tha mein" with tears in his eyes. We must not forget hr is a DON and he will not forget the way he was manipulated by the mother-daughter duo. He ahs not been rough with Madhu so far because,he still holds her that she is a woman after all and should not be physically harmed.
Here is another man,who once went down his knees professing his love for the whole world to see,especially those chawlbalas where sometime back he had dumped his half wed biwi with that oh-so-heart warming speech. After the marriage he again showered love because his little love nest was not ruffled and he had a perfect wife who never raised her voice against his wrong doing even when he accused her of meeting her "aashique" surreptitiously.
A single threat to his love nest and he is back to square one. So all these talks of redemption was pure "bakwas"(to quote some one).Any one who had really undergone a change of heart,must have reasoned it out patiently with his wife rather than pushing her around.
And that is where the glaring contrast lies.
