I have been reading many posts that Sultan changed from good to bad.. But in my opinion, he didnt change at all, he was always like this, he is just more forthcoming now.. He was a villain trying to masquerade himself as a hero!
- RK rightfully named him 'Sadakchaap' when he vandalized his car, and even now he continues to evoke disgust in us with his 'Sadakchaapish' activities.
- he started off as a ruthless, abusive father who used his son as a bait. those whi think he changed, he is still an abusive father who he is ready to abandon his specially abled son for a woman. Even in the goldplated days, he never cared for his son.
- he started off killing people and twisting necks.. and he continues to do so.. It's his bread n butter!
- he has been threatening people at gunpoint from day 1, and it has never changed..
- Earlier he kidnapped a woman at gunpoint after blindfolding her, and now he again kidnapped her, this time picked her up.. he never had any respect for woman!! just uttering a few chivalrous dialogues doesnt make one chivalrous, actions do!!
- he threatened Madhu that he would kill her husband at the chawl, and even today he is using the same threat..
- he told Madhu not to tell RK about him after he literally stopped his car in front of the door, and now he keeps calling her when he is around and warns her not to tell RK about him.. I find this behavior quite dumb which has been one consistent thing about him.
- only a selfish man would pose a threat to an innocent middle class family by taking refuge in their house. Apparently, he has places to hide n people to help him. Where were these people when he was shot?
- we all know that he was a terrible husband, got over his wife in one day.. then never reminisced about her after he fell for a random married girl.. And now he proved to be a shame on friendship as well.. IMO he is too selfish to sustain a relationship.
- he was jealous of Madhu n RK dancing intimately on Holi, and he always gives those envious looks when RK n Madhu are together.
- He wanted Madhu to shoot Bhujang, now he wants her to jilt RK. Basically he always tries to use Madhu against his enemies.
- he always tries to buy people's sympathy with his sob-stories! He told Pads that he picked up crime because of circumstances and even now he continues to blame circumstances.
- He continued to dream about Madhu even when she went back to RK mansion. At that time he was clueless about Madhu's revenge, so he was lusting on somebody else's wife at peak of goldplating.
- his dreams of pulling dupattas at Dargah gave us an insight into his intentions and he is on similar lines in reality.
- He came to stop Madhu from revenge, but started reprimanding her when she said that she doesnt want to take revenge! Clearly, he never had any intention to stop her!
- He got over his adoptive mom in a few hours, labeled her love as a fluke so why are we surprised if he forgot Meera and her kangan?
- during the platinum plated era, he was seen trying to instigate Madhu against RK and asking her to support him by appealing to her soft heart. Which friend will have a convo like that with his friend about her own husband? That was highly disgusting behavior.
there are umpteen instances which show that he was just wearing a garb of a nice man.. the only decent thing he did that I fail to explain is him taking care of RJ, otherwise everything else was a farce. notwithstanding that a few days earlier he didnt even flinch when RJ fainted.
He was and is a gangster in true sense.. Do you think a man with little dignity will behave the way he is behaving with Madhu.. he easily forgot that he owes his life to Madhu? Even if he has scores to settle with RK, he could let bygones be bygones. Not for humanity, not for friendship, but at least as a payback for whatever Madhu did for him n his son! He is just proving himself to be an ingrate!!
And for once the CVs gave a social message i.e. never trust a lowlife gangster!! One should never have any kind of liaison with a hardcore criminal. They will always be dodgy and backstab you at any given instance.
