With the pictures above you will see the dialogue covers his childhood 8 years old he was abducted, he never got the benefit of an education, no shelter, food he had to struggle for these basic things that RK had MK gave these to RK and not to Sultan, Sultan off course feels he was deprived of these things, put yourself in his footsteps you that child and now you are a grown up having not had an education, shelter, struggling on the street for your livelihood. Then you meet a girl and you loose her to the same person that has had everything that were your entitlements as you were that person's son too. Madhu is part of the reason but the other things are also the reason.

it can only be justified if they reveal as he acted and there is a strong reason for it and still he is the same old sultan

exactly jas, as madhu pointed out that the person responsible for his state is MK and not RK, then why he is doing all this! And morever he is not a person to break others house, he has been shown as a level headed guy! Then why this sudden change? After rishabala wedding, they have never shown him even looking at madhu from any other angle, then why did he have to say all these? Actually i am not even angry that he confessed his feelings for her because he did love her and maybe still does, but why did he ask her to come with him, what was he thinking?
