He only walks over people who barge into his life,, he just tells that who is the boss!! I think this is how a man or a woman should be.. My mom cals me a honey comb, as I never bother anyone, but never spare anyone who hampers my way towards my goal..

Heathcliff was never shown to be super smart.. I love RK being so brainy, manipulative.. I think it's a good quality if one wants to suceed in life especially when he doesn't take advantage of his mom n wife for his personal goals.. He considers him, his wife n his mom as one unit!!
RK even though hates his step family provides them with all the riches, without rubbing it off people that he s being nice, rather he portrays himself to be meaner than he actually is..

Hi Kashish, you can call me Maria! 😊

No, when I say I loved Heathcliff, (yes I love him) I say it in the literary sense! I mean I just love his characterization. I absolutely didn't root for him when he was all bitter and he crossed all limits, I know that. You don't root for antiheroes, you hate them, yet you admire their complex nature. But he is definitely the best antihero that was ever written, true tortured romantic hero because, he truly blurred the line between a hero and a villain. I admire him as a character.

When I say I like antiheroes, I don't mean that I want a man like him for me. 😆 I mean I just simply admire to read (as I read more than I watch TV) and ponder over the complexity in their psychology and characterization. As I said in my previous post, I am sadistic that way. 😳 Heathcliff was one wild character, you either love him or you hate him, but whatever you feel for him while reading the book, you feel it with passion. That's the thing I like about him. He was and will always be the archetype for all antiheroes to come.

And yes, RK is definitely very different. I think he is as much of an antihero as the TRP audience can take. They can't show a Heathcliff on TV. Many people don't get RK, how will they ever get Heathcliff?

I like dark and gothic love stories like Wuthering Heights because I believe love does not make everyone selfless. I mean, there are all sorts of people in the world who love very differently. But that's just my opinion.

Truly the best charecter on TV till date

All the charecters till now in TV have changed after falling in love with sweet simple girl
But RK...He is still complex enough

And I want him to remain the same...teda hai par mera hai

Gone are the days when angelic protagonists and scheming vamps would lock horns on the small screen. Getting real on TV has now got a new meaning, with producers of TV serials highlighting on grey characters for their shows.

These anti-heroes act according to circumstances and are not afraid to do or say what they feel is right. One moment, they can wear their heart on their sleeve, while on the other they can marry a woman just for revenge. Not only are they adding spice and drama to the shows, they are also connecting better with the audiences.

Siddharth Arora Character name: Beera Tilakdhari Serial: Na Bole Tum Na Maine Kuch Kaha Season 2 Character changing tracks: Beera wanted to marry Navika so that he could take revenge for his grandfather, who didn't get an election ticket because of her.

Speak: Nobody is too good or too bad. Every person does things according to what he feels is right. So, I think today the trend on TV is more towards realism as characters are not black or white anymore. They are grey, as we are in real life. Navika fools Beera into believing that she was in love with him. All she wanted was a sting operation on his grandfather, who is a corrupt politician. But after the incident, his grandfather stops trusting him. According to the circumstances, he was also right. I've observed Shah Rukh Khan in Baazigar and Manoj Bajpayee and Nawazuddin Siddique in Gangs of Wasseypur to prepare for this role.

Vivian Dsena Character name: Rishabh Kundra (RK) Serial: Madhubala Ek Ishq Ek JunoonCharacter changing tracks: He led Madhubala to the altar, only to abandon her as he wanted to take his revenge for one tight slap from her. Later, he realized he loved her and won her back.

Speak: The television industry is much more evolved today. Audiences have come a long way from seeing the protagonists play the diplomatically correct superheroes to now being more real going by their instincts. Anti-heroes are being appreciated by people of late as they connect more to a stronger person who can stand by what he believes is right. My character, RK, is a stubborn man who stands by what he believes in and does not give up, come what may. My fans and audiences love my character in the show and think I fit the bill perfectly.

Angad Hasija Character name: Karan Chhabra Serial: Amrit Manthan Character changing tracks: The character turns negative after his sister is driven to suicide on her wedding day. It turns positive again after he realizes that he had spoilt a person's life for no mistake of hers.

Speak: Variations in the track keep people on tenterhooks. As regards to my character, people kept wondering when would realize his mistake. The uncertainty makes the journey of the characterexciting and challenging. The audiences now understand that every person has shades of grey and being goody-two-shoes is unreal. That's why these characters are more relatable. As an actor, these characters are a treat as there is so much you can do. It gives us wider scope to perform on screen.

Sumona Chakravarti Character name: Natasha Kapoor Serial: Bade Achhe Lagte HainCharacter changing tracks: The rich spoilt brat turned positive after getting love from her in-laws. The character again turned negative after she comes to know that her husband had an extra-marital affair. She blames his family...

Speak: People in their day-to-day lives, end up behaving in terms of situations. TV shows these days are coming as close to reality as possible. Nobody is completely black or white. My character has become vulnerable because of circumstances that life has thrown at her. She is gullible to negative influences. However, I have been getting a lot of feedback on social networking sites with women asking me to remain nice and positive and not turn negative. I find the character of Nuts quite natural and convincing.

Ayaz Ahmed Character name: Raghu Naik Serial: Do Dil Ek Jaan Character changing tracks: The gangster tries every trick to make the female protagonist's life difficult. But then he undergoes a change of heart.

Speak: Playing a hero is something which I have already done in past and I needed a change. Although I never made an effort to bag a anti-hero's character as such, but then, it just happened that I found the character intriguing. People's reaction toward my character has been great. But the challenge is to keep a balance between the positive and the negative. I believe anti-heroes are more real. As a viewer, I would like to see more of real characters.

TFS😊

This is a even bigger achievement that his Teflon coating has more admirers than that of people's gold plating..

You may think i am mad , But i don't like too much of negativity in the Serial . I don't mind RK in grey shade but i don't like CV taking advantage of his this grey shade & making others along side him as golden hearted . Because of this even Madhu gets pasting .
