You know for sure that all is definitely not well with a once upon a time awesome show that we couldn't get enough of if:

- One who used to religiously watch each and every telecast, repeat included and couldn't stop thinking about the show, now cant bear to read the Written Update/watch it even for 5 minutes without getting a headache.

- When off screen snippets/tweets/interviews seem much more interesting than the stuff that is shown in the show.

- When the makers/channel try to pass the buck for pathetic episodes and incompetent storyline on the lead actors who anyone following the show knows are not at fault.

- When the wedding of the lead couple which viewers were dying to see is promoted through promos but the actual episode shows only 5 mins of the wedding interspersed with side stories

- When personal preferences of the makers/channel take precedence over what viewers like to say

- When desperate attempts are made to sell a track by butchering everything that has been good in the show

- When discussions in the forum are used after a few days in the episode and explanations which dont make sense are given through character's dialogues

- When people are actually hoping for the leads to quit so that they can stop watching the show

All this gives me aa sense of Deja vu from workings of a year ago for another very popular show. It all started with rumors being floated, blame games being played, a few actors cutting deal with PH for meatier roles thereby ruining the story completely and finally it ended with a disastrous and abrupt end for the show which no one deserved

the only positive point here is that both the leads are very much still in the show and hence there is hope ;(

👏 👏
all very valid and strong standing points.
for me the show ended after Rishbala's wedding & SR
everything we've seen and are being shown currently is not remotely close to the MEIEJ we all knew and loved. & im among those that fervently hopes VD & DD quit the show to move onto bigger better things. Channel can carry on with their bhai promotion track for all its worth and see how many viewers they have left THEN.

Though I havent watched the popular show ur talking about, old episodes of this show are far better than what is being churned out. Forcing down any character beyond limit only ends up creating mess and unfortunately, this show is going that way only ! Extreme opposition for the current track on social media sites seems to be ignored. Disappointed but I applaud the MB team for giving entertainment for one year at least!

Despite being on WU for past so many weeks, it leaves a bad taste in me. I wonder how others are bearing the current track!

Nice post!

You've pointed out all those things which are like a death knell for our show. It started with the wedding episode which was a complete parody with just a few minutes of wedding scenes being littered with the unwanted second track story. 🤢

A, once wonderful and interesting show butchered and the blame being put on the leads. Poor leads, who worked their asses off all through the year to take the show to its peak and give 4+ TRP's! While the blame lies elsewhere ...

Here are some proofs that Madhubala is not actually a good character

Madhubala's character in the series was portrayed as a character who showed mercy even to her well-intentioned enemy. But when I watched the...
