This is a fiction T.V.show. The sets are more grandoise than in any other shows where multi-millionaires are shown to live in far more modest houses. I have no problems in their showing a gangster who leads a lifestyle very different from the actual gangsters. It is not the set we are discussing here. That depends on the budgets of the PHs which cannot be in bollywood style as this is a daily soap which has been running for more than a year. I have a problem with the characterisation of this gangster. One moment he is shown to fear for his life and the life of his family - the need to constantly shift houses and the next minute he is shown to court publicity by attending the bollywood theme party or now barging into RK's house when he is having a puja for his father. Isn't that contradictory?
Yes, yes. More excuses for the abuse and the flimsy apology which follows. The man can harass, stalk, kidnap, give no space. The woman falls for it like a meek victim and gives up her sense of self. All hail the man who apologizes; and so all he's done previously in order to arrive at the current relationship status is okay. Never mind all that the man had done. Let's all wipe that slate clean. Be a jackass, harass the woman, kidnap the woman, bother her, till she's forced to deal with you, and then she falls again for you. What a great lesson! What a great 'love story' 👏👏👏
Since when has Madhu been a meek victim? She has always given him as good as she gets and as much as he deserves. I've not seen any victim have as much power over her abuser as this victim did. She broke his arrogance, his ego. She made him go down on his knees not once but twice. Good for her and good for them. I don't see Madhu giving up her sense of self. She gave it back to him even on the stage during their wedding.
She has gained her self by fighting RK tooth and nail. It is only when she was convinced he was really genuine in his repentance she accepted him.
In forgiving the man who had wronged her she has not lost herself. Its funny how people think that forgiveness equates to surrender. Do you think if your parent or loved one forgives you they have lost they self?
Yes he has been a monster. He himself publicly admitted it. Does that mean he has to be hanged for it? He suffered for what he did, both emotionally as well as physically. He nearly lost the only woman whom he loves. He learnt that she was playing his own game. He knew he was the one who pushed her to it. He had owned up to his role in hardening her and was willing to make amends. Now if the woman wants to give him the chance who are we to question her?
This is how this show is going to be. RK and Madhu will always have this intense, tempestuous relationship where both hurt each other and heal each other even as they keep insanely loving each other. Madhu had patiently explained it to Sultan on the night of the wedding. If you don't like this love story you shouldn't be watching it because this is how it is going to be.
He is the right kameena. The one who people don't acknowledge is an abuser and a jackass. Well I guess they acknowledge he's a jackass. But all his jackassery is not abuse, apparently.🥱
Yes, not all his jackassery is not abuse. Whenever he has abused he has been punished both by destiny as well as Madhu. If Sultan's abuses can be forgiven and looked over, so can RK's.
