I just wanted to ask, how does living in the same house make the story any different then how it is now? When Sultan's parentage was being revealed it was obvious that this is just a way to tie him into the main storyline and the main characters. They moved him into the chawl once, and now the RK mansion.
They're keeping him around Madhu guys 😆. Separated or married. He goes where she goes. And he never even wants too. Its not bad. It doesn't change anything between the two of them. Except for now Sultan will have an up close and personal look at the inner-workings of RK and Madhu's 'anokha pyaar'. She'll interact with Aryan and everyone will see. She'll interact with Sultan and everyone will see. She'll interact with RK and everyone will see. The point is to further polarize, have opportunity for high drama, and keep Sultan around. That's a good thing, no?
To be honest this was one of the reasons I didn't want him to be RK's brother, because I knew they'd immediately move him into the house. And I had a feeling it would be used as a roadblock to RK Madhu heaven. But it could go either way I think. It all depends on how RK and Madhu's relationship unfolds, both pre and post Sultan discovery.
I would like something to happen with RK and Madhu before the truth gets revealed. Either (1) RK reveals he was lying to her and is in no mood to forgive her, or (2) they consummate. Maybe both. Early consummation is like the death knell on tv, so yeah. I'm hoping that both happen. Another reality check for Madhu and audience is needed. If RK's being genuine throughout this wedding I'll eat my socks.
There are two spoilers out at this point right? (1) That RK is in no mood to forgive Madhu, and (2) RK refuses to consummate with Madhu because of Sultan being his older brother. The latter is slightly ridiculous. But its just the type of passive aggressive "don't look at me" but secretly look only at me behaviour that RK would pull. First is consistent. Latter is just plain ridiculous. Just wait and watch I guess ⭐️.
As an aside, there's this argument that AR is here because JDJ is taking Drashti's time. What is the basis of it? She's the main female lead, the most they'll spare of her time is a couple minutes an episode, and I don't think they need a parallel lead for that. I always thought that they're not showing much wedding masti because (1) they don't want to, and (2) because Sultan discovery track needs to be developed to a certain level by the time the wedding is over. But why would they bring in Sultan (a character whose track will eventually rotate towards Madhu, as AR himself said) in an effort to lessen DD's work load? If someone wants to explain, I'd be grateful. My bias is getting in the way 😆. Unless the show really is RK's show, and its all about RishTan interaction from now on.
PS: Just trying to be positive with this whole same house thing. I know neither side is happy. But depending on how things unfold, I think it could benefit either.
