It is hard to say what form the character would take. The problem is that you have to keep a small set of characters interesting to an audience 6 days a week. It's way too much to ask - this is why CVs resort to absurd plot twists to grab audience eyeballs.
Where is poor Malik anyway? Jiske liye yeh sab tamasha hua - apparently it was to save his life that Madhu majboori mein half married RK - but she didn't seem to miss him at all in this latest grand tamasha wedding.
