And then he entered. And the moment he entered the message was loud and clear. That it is he who drives the action, it is he on whom the situation revolves. He holds the key and he is the master. No words were spoken, but the message was there for all who held their breath to see what would be his next move.
He entered the room. No hesitation, no second thoughts, no confusion. Clear,steady strides and he barged into the room. He was there on a mission, to rescue the lady before she does any thing which will prove to be detrimental to her. He was there to sound reason. He was there to make her understand revenge is not her ball game,she is just not cut out for that. All that he wanted was she should be protected from all known and unknown danger. And why so? Was it simply because he had a moral obligation towards her mother that come what may,he will not let harm come her way? Was it simply that? Did he not want that this lady to do something which she herself will be ashamed of one day. He was there not to protect her from any one, but, to protect her from herself.
And that is why,he was surprised that she had given up her idea on revenge and has decided to go ahead with the marriage. Surprised and shocked. Not because she has changed her plan,that was a relief for him any way. But, why did she decide to go ahead with it? Is she really serious about forgiving or is there more to it that meets the eye?
That was another puzzle left for him to unravel. And he will do that as well.
He has all along been a man of action. And a man of very few words.
I have always liked men/hero to be slightly sad and brooding. He fits it like a tee. And that is why I always watch him so closely. This is being played by a fantastic actor too who matches the role to perfection. Nothing can be more enigmatic,no one can be so mesmerizing either!
