If u see,Sultan had a more difficult childhood,he had to survive on the streets in the real nasty underworld,yet he chooses to be a gentleman and has built himself up with all the ideal goodness,he chose to pick the good things in character building,he is a self made man.

Nimmy I agree that RK never moved fromo that I-Me-Myself complex... who else won't agree to that...

About the child..
Sultan was all left alone in street... and in real nasty underworld... but as he said... he steal money at the age of 8 or 9... which is not his fault.. but he was forced to do so... and again he decided to kill the man who killed his mom at the age of 20... and then he took the wrong path of underworld as his job.. may be he has left with no other options... and nobody was there to control or advice him.. so he made himself some disciplines and he succeed in following that.. and its a good thing... Sultan own a golden heart.. but a wrong job still he keep some disciplines in that job which he follows...

Where as RK he saw his father hagging himself before him... and don't know for what reason but he considered himself guilty and responsible for his father's death.. so he was kind of punishing himself in one way... by hating everyone and being hated by everyone... and his mom remarriage made him think he is left all alone... I don't think he might have took any kind of help from Kukku or Radhaji to become what he is now... but still he managed to get a job of himself... and attained a position in society... RK own a Good job/position.. but with I-complex ruling his heart still he too have some disciplines in his character which he follows...

I never compared RK's and Sultans's childhod ever.. and its first time i am doing it... and i am not trying to prove whose childhood is more worse...
and who became more efficient... its in the way we look at it...

Pennu,its not the jobs we do that make us a better person,yeah they do give us a status in society,but ive seen people at higher places abuse their power and positions too.
Sultan as a child with no formal education ,decided not to do odd jobs,but become so powerful as to help the powerless and chose will fully to become a gangster.That was the envoronment in which he grew up,was kidnapped by gangsters,mother shot by them,so he saw them as powerful and chose to become a good gangster.Even some movies glorify that,agneepath,dayaavan,nayakan to name a few.
RK was from a filmi background,his dad owned a studio,was a producer/director,famous.Kukkuji is also in the industry,Dipali was a struggling actress,thats the world he comes from,grew up in.The upper class of Filmland,madhu comes from the lower strata of the same land.So its but natural,he becomes an actor and luck favors him and he becomes a Superstar.There are many A+actors who dont become hits,so we cannot say talent and hadwork alone.
So I believe,the environments they grew up in Shaped them.They both became the most powerful in their environments,maybe we can say they are Born Leaders,not followers.

Pennu,train a child in the way he/she should go and they will not depart from it.
Thats why chidhood shapes a person into what he becomes as an adult.Im not saying sultan is a paragon of virtues or RK is the opposite.What i need to see,is the willingness to learn and change ureself for better.
More like,u make me wanna be a better person,sort of a love.😳

i feel he was upset cos of Madhu saying he has no right to come there and everything will be spoiled because of him.

He went there with good intentions and on Paddy's request as well as thinking Madhu really needs his help. And it was Madhu who shared with him everything as well as involve him in some way when she needed. So maybe these kind of betrayals affect him. He could be soft person when it comes to his personal relationship.

Lets keep aside his love for Madhu. First he take Madhu as a friend and he is a well wisher of her. And so far he has not used his feelings to get anything from her. He has always tried to give something to her and is trying to be there for her. he was unaware of what RK and Madhu was upto, whether they love each other genuinely or not. he was not being updated.

Whether some like it or not, I think it is time people accept Sultan as part of the show now. he is here to stay now, that is what I feel.

@bold.. I agree.. he was upset with Madhu asking why he came there.. and bcos of him everything is gonna spoil... and asked him to leave... as you mentioned he didn't go there with the intention to spoil anything... and may be he is soft person.. and thus the tears... and i don't have any problem with Sultan crying.. but its another thing that he is not suppose to cry like that... just bcos he was blamed for wrong reason... he was never shown like that... he never left Aaryan to cry.. so wasn't expecting that from him... thats what i felt...

@red.. thats was i am not liking... maybe he came forward to help Madh as a friends.. but his first reaction to that situation wasn't like a friend... it was more like a failed lover... He was calling himself Bewakhoof.. bcos he has fallen for a girl who loves only RK and want to be only RK's...(thats why the fb of dargah scene and Mdhu's lines..) Thats the part i was talking yesterday in my post...

@green...
there no doubt in that...

men in our serial are so self centred!!!! and egoistic!!

Very well said Chand... Me too felt the same.. thats why i hated Padmini insisting Sultan...
@bold.. I agree...

Very correct Nimmy...
I agree the environments they grew up in Shaped them. Sultan grew up in gangster-world.. and RK grew up in filmy-world... and they choose to become leaders in the respective field...

here the biggest problem of RK fans and Sultan fans is Sultan's profession and RK behavior respectively... I not talking about how they became like this... and its not a good reason to justify their actions...

I will say... Sultan might have dreamed to have a normal life.. may be he wished to leave everything... thats why he wasn't shown thinking about his carrier when he fallen for Madhu and decided to tell her about his feeling... but what he got in return was.. Madhu is all RK's and asked him to get leave... so he will again prefer this gangster world...

Same goes with RK.. he decided to become like Madhu...he was never shown redeeming his actions... he dreamed to have a beautiful life with her the same way she did... but what he got in return was she was trying to take reveneg on him... so he will again prefer to be the old egoistic...

Now Sultan should know his chosen path is wrong... so he need to change it.. and its not an easy job for a Gangster to leave everything just like and to have a normal life.. But i hope one day he will decide to do that...
Again same goes with RK... he should know he has chosen to do wrong things... and he need to redeem for that.. and its not that easy for him to do so since we know how egoistic he is... But I really hope he will redeem about his actions one day...

I don't know whetehr its made any sense...As for me both are wrong in one way... and i accept them like that...

good morning friends!

nice to see the rise in our trp. but wehn are we going to move to 3? we seemed to be stuck in 2. something only.

nice discussion childhood affecting adult life.

child is the father of man!!!!

But many ppl seemed to use that excuse. but consciously or unconsciously we are affected by childhood experiences.

RK n sultan react differently by their childhood experiences. but what abt madhu? wasn't she affected by Balraj? how come she is more naive n trusting? she may not have experienced the actual cruely of ballu, but growing up without a dad, not evn knowing one - wasn't that traumatic?
