Completely agree with U and I also said the same thing when I saw the second performance of DD in JDJ. I am sure she would feel lighter by doing that afterall that was Drashti doing it and not Madhu. So personally she would feel lighter na, though she don;t have much choice in the show except to do what she was asked and that is to look good and create chemistry with teh male lead.Originally posted by: swapna555
Hey guys!! Hey Pennu, Shahi, Priya, Nimmy and whoever else is aroundð.
Sorry for disappearing suddenly last time. I realized I was late for an appt and had to hurry away.
Anyway, I know I am prob. talking to myself here for now, but anyway I just got this random thought and thought to share with you all.
That What a contrast it is for DD to these shows.
In this show and in her previous show, she was the central char around whom the story is supposed to revolve around but it seems it ended up with the Male char/Actor getting considerably more recognition in both shows than her.
And there the similarity ends.
There she got to have
-a strong char who stands for herself ( at least as much of the part I saw) and
- got a True knight in shining armor,
-a man who fell in love with her first,
- a man who adored, cherished her and treated her with respect and gave her respect and
- would have done anything to safeguard her honor and keep her safe,
-a man who earned her love
and here she gets a man who
-schemed against her and manipulates her,
-gets called characterless by the same man innumerable times, -who was the cause of her every pain, and
-gloated in her pain
-gets to be continuously humiliated, abused , dissed, handcuffed and
- and get's tied up in the name of romance.
-and after months and months pf continous public humilations and tortures and
-after giving countless character and love tests and still failing to win his trust most of the times
-gets to get one measly "sorry' and proposal to get him that too after
-falling and begging on his feet to take her back.
And on Top of all that, DD due to
-her own Amazing romantic acting skills and
-as per the downward spiral of her char ( from a strong principled girl to a weak, blind to everything but desire to get the man she "loves" char),
she comes across as really desperate for physical union (while showcasing unutterable passion) with the man she wants ablve all else,
while VD, due to
-his char sketch (may be?)
-and also because of his weakness in acting romantic skills
( Please don't think of this as bashing: for in my POV, VD is
-Excellent in BBB, I think almost one of the best I have seen in the way he does that with flamboyance,
-good in emotional scenes and
-not so great in romantic scenes;
dunno whether it is because of discomfort or any other reason)
he comes across as not really caring too much for it.
So, as usual, as per the pattern, Madhu continues to be shown in a lopsided relationship where the partners r never shown equal, either in feelings, or desires, or mutual respect or genuine remorse.
I feel bad for DD.
I think since she committed to act as part of this abusive, imbalanced relationship, she choose to give that "against Abuse" piece IN JDJ, to express her own feelings regarding this show and her role and knowing that many r not liking her doing this role. She spec. said, "if u see us standing for the right or doing the right thing" then vote for us.
She is such a self respecting girl. It must hurt her sensibilities to do this role. But, being a true professional. she is giving her 100% to it.
I don't follow any actors or or be fans of them specifically, but I guess I have to admire her for this. :-)
Kudos to DD for a Job Being Well Done!! ððð
