Sultans Character had grey shades that was evident in the bigining, but is was not so taken in by this man of honour thing. this is a guy who kill for a living, and i'm not talking fish or goats. he kills people how good can he be. even his gray would be of the darker shade right.
Rk is gray, but his darkness does not come from death, but ego, pain of abandonment he has hidden behind the galamor light and presona of the superstar. but he's gray is still more lighter than that of sultan. RK does not walk on dead bodies.
and even from the first moment that RK broke madu's heart it was evident that by the time he got home wihout her, his goose was cooked, and it was clear that even though he would never accept it Rishab Kundra was completely and irrevocably in love with madubala. and that was how the story was ment to be. a love story between Madubala and Rishab Kundra.
Ek Ishq Ek Junoon. his Ishq his Junoon, her Ishq her Junoon, their Ishq their Junoon.
on Sultans entry, i could not get it and his place in her life. it never made sense to me. was he brought in only to be a catilist to get RK to fight for Madu and want her back. to some extent yes. but from madu standpoint, Sultan was and would be only a friend. she only saw a person who could be a good person if he wanted to. she didnt seem attracted to him or drawn to him in a primal way. not the way she was drawn to RK from the very begining the animal magnitism that RK and Madubala had for each other, transanded reality, it was unhealth,
but rigth. like some thing just ment to be.
i always felt that Sultan was the odd man out, and would remain the odd man out. so if they are going to turn his character totally negative i'm not supprised. i was just waiting for it to happen and it going to.
ps- but i dont get this agneepath angle in this story. may be people are drawing parallels because zarina wahbi is going to play sultans mother. but i thought sultan told madu that his mom was killed? so either he lied? or he lied?
