Almost a year ago, on 28th May 2012, Indian Television saw the birth of one of the best Villains ever..
BHAGWAN SHAITAN CHOUDARY played brilliantly by RAJ ZUTSI
An evil man, who had no qualms playing target practice on her daughter's head..
who was ready to kill his unborn child because of a prophecy which claimed that she would be responsible for his fall
the only one he ever listened to was his equally evil mom
He tried to kill Madhubala when she was in her mothers womb..tried to kill her when she was just born
and when he tried again 20 years later, her made made sure he met his end
If there is something in the show I miss as much as RK-Madhu that were or even more..it has to be BALRAJ CHOUDARY
that man was one of his kind, an epic character rendered superbly by an brilliant actor
the streak of madness, the eccentricities, even his crassness was classy
a cruel, selfish, ruthless and heartless man who believed in enjoying life to fullest..
for him it was all about himself and his status..his rule..others be damned
He had almost all the qualities that made him an amazing and entertaining antagonist
Unfortunately for us he met his fate too prematurely..(something I will never forgive Padmini and CVs for)
But yet he will forever be remembered for the Brilliantly Evil character that he was
