a very well written post! And definitely its a welcome change from the stupid posts praising Rk's every torture.

as for the topic I feel that,

There is no such definition of simple or complicated. It is only the personal nature that matters. Rk's nature is too different from a normal being...

The question here is not about 'being in love ' according to Madhu. She is just disturbed by the fact that RK wants everything to be one-sided.

It is not that he shies away from the benefits of love ..he wants to enjoy the same fruits as a normal person does but when it comes to giving the same thing back he hesitates. This is what has created a mighty imbalance in their relationship. RK as a character is superbly excellent but RK as a lover is definitely spoiling Rishbala.

Nice post!

His quirky character is what makes this show unique - otherwise we have dime a dozen those 'cute and sugary sweet' diabetes dene wale heroes in every Hindi show. Who wants that? We're happy with RK, just CV's shouldn't mess with his character further.

if I m right Madhu fell in love with rishabh not RK. in the pre revenge days.

Love does not only mean accepting a person but also changing yourself for him/her but RK refuses to do so.

How can you imagine that RK will remain the same and Madhu will change?? Either both need to change or none. Any one of them changing and the other not doing so will cause an imbalance.

And if RK had accepted the way Madhu is he would never have asked her to act as per his whims.

and what Madhu desires from her love is the basic qualities everyone desires. Trust and self respect and I m sure RK is capable of giving it. He is just holding it back.

thankq dear btw my qus is i knw every girl want hero like madhu told 2 sultan...bt bt my qus is if rk is nt like a typical hero...bt everybody want that simple wala pyar thn why cv's doesnt want 2 change rk... Like madhu want bt nw cv's toh inko alag karwana chahti hai madhu keh revenge plan se... If der is d problm in rk jiski wajha se madhu use pyar nai kar sakti toh change him na bajaya sultan keh pass dil hai nd all dialogue

Arey if CVs made their Hero like this them its for some purpose only na... its not like they made a story on Simple Hero and simple Heroine.. and RK himself turned like this...😆

Mukund was just the kind Madhu wants now, the simple sa, ordinary sa, guy next door. But these characters are humans and not God that " saare gun aa gayenge". Like Mukku was very down to earth but he was spineless. About Sultan, he may seem to be sarvagun sampann, but if one is to study and observe his character more, many cracks will appear. Otherwise he will become Purushottam Ram bhagwanji. While Rk is very human with a very strong chacterisation. So strong that it is difficult to change him. If he has a few negatives, he also has loyalty, protectiveness towards his loved ones and strenght to deal with situations. And if Madhu keeps at it, he is soon going to accomodate some softer qualities also in his nature.

These kinds of characters are hard to find and we love them in fictions at least.

thankq pennu 4 understanding...😉 when story is diff and hero heroine also thn y pyar is simple lol ok bt y i am confused with madhu dialogue... Nt madhu bt cv's jb simple hero ka pyar chahia sb ko toh rk kyu itna diff fir toh use pyar milne se raha...
I want my rishbala hai... Nd mai yeh b nai chati ki rk simple na ban jaye jisse samjhna fir epi dkh kar hi keh de ki hero dil ka acha hai i hope u understand.

to change RK will be a foolish thing for the cvs both creativity and trp wise.

Madhu desperately loves RK and that is clear when she says

that she wants respect and trust and that too from RK only...

the fact is MB doesnt want RK to be a simple or typical hero..she just expects him to give some love and respect to her.

she doesnt want him to be a love struck puppy but at least she doesnt want him to be a sulking husband either who doesnt trust his wife.

RK expects too much from the other person in every relationship be it his mother his wife or someone else. But when his turn comes he hesitates to give it back. This may happen to every character whether simple or complicated.

And the other problem is RK tries to rule everything and everybody which is not possible. As soon as RK submits himself to the fact that he is just a normal human most of his problems will be solved.
