CHAPTER 11(A)

Mumbai High court

09:30 AM( Wednesday)

The entrance of Mumbai high court was blocked by innumerable reporters, the news about the case had spread like fire, media was going berserk, n number of stories were being woven out, tele news & newspapers were filled with news reports abt the case.

Madhubala arrived with Nitin , Nitin had insisted to be with her during the proceedings & she had agreed without a word coz she knew she needed support & who could be better than him,

They waited inside the car for Mr.Mehta to arrive, As soon as he arrived the trio moved out of the cars& soon the reporters surrounded them

Mr. Mehta what do u think, what r ur chances of winning the case??

How much claim r u putting Sir???

What r the chances of out of court of court settlement??

What went wrong Sir, u had 2 earlier films with RK, u both were at good terms ?? what happened this time???

Soon all 3 were inside the compound, arranging all documents needed for presenting the case.

When RK's BMW zoomed inside the premises, every head turned to his direction, as he emerged out of the car, Media people literally pounced on him,

As RK moved to the courtroom, his eyes were searching for that one person who is giving him sleepless nights, whose face he could not get out of his mind, whose voice his ears were aching to hear. His steps halted as his gaze fell on the beauty clad in white suit just like an angel from heaven. O god, how can somebody look so ethereal even without a speck of makeup. Now how will I concentrate with her being in the same room!!!

Soon she turned & noticed RK standing by the door, their eyes met. World stopped for RK!!! Everything except her became blur, his legs began moving on their own accord, he was moving towards her oblivion to his surroundings, he stopped just at arms distance from her.

Seeing her so close, he was losing it. But before he could do something stupid, her voice brought him back from his la-la land.

Good morning Mr. Kundra

Goo..good morning. Ohhh….. not again why do I fumble before her, And…..wait…….did I just WISH HER GOODMORNING?????, when did I began wishing others?? damn!!! This girl, what is she turning me into?? No. RK gather ur self, bring out & show her the real RK.

Ohh,,, so I see u have decided to go on!! Well..good!! I will enjoy the show when Bhatia will bring u down, it will be great & soothing for me to see u in tears, Madhubala!!!

For split of a moment he saw her flinch at the mention of Bhatia's name, but that was gone at the blink of eye.

We'll see that Mr. Kundra, I don't need to comment on this, but I assure u I wont cry on losing, but I cant say the same thing about U!!

But I have seen u cry before...dear Madhubala. Bhatia said mockingly emerging from behind RK.

RK noticed the menacing tone & that nasty smirk with which Bhatia addressed Madhu, he neither liked his tone nor his use of "dear" for Madhu.

he also noticed how Madhu showed absolutely no reaction, her eyes were cold &, he was trying hard to gauge any emotion but there were none, no emotions atall. He could feel the air was suddenly too thick with tension.

So how r u Madhubala?? Bhatia asked her

Soon a strong manly arm rounded around her shoulder protectively giving her the much needed support, Nitin pressed her shoulders comfortingly to assure her she can do it!!! Madhu acknowledged his gesture through her eyes & turned towards Bhatia to retaliate back.

Meanwhile RK was fuming in anger, as soon as he noticed his arms around her shoulders, he just wanted to kill him, how dare he???, in his jealousy he failed to notice that it was more of a comforting & supporting gesture than anything more.

I m good Mr. Kuku Bhatia.

Oh..thats great.I heard u earned a great name & now u r a good criminal lawyer. I m impressed, why not after all u worked under me!! Ur bound to be good.

Mr. Kuku Bhatia let me clarify one thing im not good but best!!, and as far as working under u is concerned I really learned some good lessons from u.
