Recap:

Rk hugs madhu...madhu hugs him back (both their eyes moist with tear)

Rk : jab sab jaanti thi toh uss din mere kehne par chali kyu gayi mandap se? (breaking the hug and holding madhu's shoulder)

Madhu : nahi jaanti thi Rk...tumhaare pyaar ne mujhe samjhaaya...unn khatton ko padhne par ehsaas hua...tumne apni yaadein mere naam likh di...toh main yahaan kaise nahi aati...

Rk : unn khatton mein aisa kya tha jo...

Madhu (cuts him n says): vo jo main kabhi samajh nahi paayi...wo jo mujhe pehle karna chahiye tha...kaise mujhe itni aasaani se maaf kar diya rk? Main kyu nahi kar paayi?

Rk : tumhaare dhoke ki wajah bhi tumhaara pyaar hi tha...hai naa madhu?

And they come close to each other...slowly Rk's lips near madhu's lips...and they share a soft short kiss ❤️

Chapter 16 - MEMORIES

They gently pull away...and calmly look into each other's eyes...

Rk: madhu ghar chalo...

Madhu : rk ghar kyun nahi gaye..?

Rk looks into madhu's eyes and...

he holds madhu's hand while they are sitting on the couch

While still looking into each other's eyes...

And then he gets up eyeing madhu to come along...

They walk towards the desk...

Rk holds madhu's shoulder and makes her sit on the chair present there

He glances at the book shelf beside him and removes an album...and places it on the desk in front of madhu... and he just stands there besides her...

He opens the first page...madhu gradually puts her hand towards the album and touches the first photo...

Photo caption : when my rishab was born

The photo contained young looking radhaji and mohan kundra holding a tiny little yawning rishab in their hand...

Madhu's eyes met rk's eyes and they smiled with tears in their eyes as if silently sharing what they felt...

Madhu turned the page

Photo caption: today rishu is a year old...and loves breaking all his toys

The photo had a cute little rishab sitting on the bed and staring and showing the camera a broken toy car...

Madhu was in tears and looking at rk who seemed just lost somewhere...

The photo showed mohan kundra carrying little rishab staring at him with his mouth open and a phone fallen on the floor...

Madhu was starting to feel how rk's sweet memories were no more sweet as every photo reminded him of his dead father...

Radhaji was holding a tiny little rishab in her arms and mohan kundra was standing next to her with a glass of drink in his hand...

And she turned the page..

A two year old rishab was dressed up in t-shirt n jeans and a jacket and a tiny pair of glares held in his hand...in front of him was a chocolate cake made by radhaji..radhaji and mohan kundra were standing beside him...

Madhu looked up to look at Rk but, Rk had walked away till the window and was looking out side...

Madhu turned to next page...

A three and a half year old rishab was smiling standing in his uniform with a bag resting on the side of his leg and a water bottle in his hand...far behind somewhere near the door stood radhaji looking at him and smiling...

Madhu was smiling but, she had tears in her eyes..but she wasn't happy either...

And she turned to the next page..

madhu looked towards the window again..but, Rk wasn't there...she was so lost and touched seeing the photos that she didn't realise Rk had come back and was standing next to her...she looked up into his moist eyes...and noticed Rk opened his wallet and lay it beside the album...now the album was complete...

Rk and madhu just looked into each other's eyes...

Rk: sorry madhu..

Madhu gets up slowly and holds Rk's hand...but, Rk frees his hand slowly and walks towards the couch with his back facing madhu...madhu walks behind him..

Rk : yeh tasveerein...masoom yaadein rishab ki...zakhmee ho gayi hain...jaana chahta tha main ghar...lekin jab hosh aaya tab samajh aaya ki...

Madhu : ki puraani yaadein tumhein wahaan jeene nahi dengi...?

Rk : nahi madhu...ki maine jab tumhein dhoka diya uss raat tumhaari saari yaadein zakhmee kar di, ki maine uss madhu ko kho diya jo masoom thi...sacchi thi...aur do dinn pehle...shaadi ki raat.. main phir wahi nahi karna chahtaa tha...

Madhu is in tears..she walks ahead of rk n turns to look him in the eyes...

Madhu : aur isliye tumne jaan-boojh kar mujhe jaane ke liye keh diya...?

Rk : main tumhein zabardasti ghar le aaya...madhu shaayad tumne yeh shaadi khud ko khudki nazron mein begunaah saabit karne ke liye ki...waqt dena chahta tumhein...sochne ke liye ki kya tumne dil se mujhe maaf kiya...ya phir sirf ek kamzor pal ki wajah se...

Madhu hugs Rk saying "Rk main wo sab bhula chuki hoon..." Rk hugs her back...

Rk removes his phone from his pocket and switches it on and calls "rajesh gaadi lekar sitaara studio pohocho...abhi"

(the rain has stopped outside...it is cold...its almost 5 am...)

Rk hangs up on the phone and dizzly walks towards the couch...madhu runs to hold him...n they sit on the couch...Rk's breathing becomes loud...he feels breathless...madhu is shocked...
