What a wonderful post on such a wonderful character!! Gosh I was shocked at all the insults spewed at Sultan- and for once did this man falter? No! I loved Sultan's gesture of just walking away! I'm sure it took a lot of courage and strength that only a real Gentleman can have!

He looked like a Real Sultan today! Bravo CV's !

Thank you. Only Sultan could have shown that amount of resistance and patience. How can anyone not admire him? True that. And he walked away with his head held high.

Really guys , iam suprised at all the comments. Sultan should behave like a gentleman and not interfere in Madhu' life. She trust him but she didnt ask for his help. Gentleman dont talk about someone's wife like that. Sulatn open his mouth and said the wrong words. He knows Rk does not like him at all, why even go to the party, he should have called Madhu to clarify. Silly guy. Madhu as a wife you are so wrong for having a connection with Sultan,not in this culture.

Even I am surprised at all the comments and posts that somehow find a way to justify or defend RK's actions, no matter how illogical they may sound. Sultan DID behave like a gentleman. Had he not, RK would be lying flat on a hospital stretcher right now. And what wife? When that woman's very own half husband had absolutely no shame whatsoever in stripping her self respect in public, why can't a man with some decency atleast attempt to stop him? Are you trying to say that when husbands insult their wives in public and link them on having an affair with another man, no body should stand up for her? RK only likes himself. Wrong words? I found nothing wrong in what he said. He gave RK a much needed slap of reality. I know people have a problem with him saying the "we don't raise hands on women" part, but ever heard of "form of expression" ? . He wasn't accusing RK of hitting Madhu or anything. He was just telling him in a form of an expression how HE does not raise his hand on women or publicly humiliate them. And even RK knew what he said was right and he couldn't handle the truth. If people get the kind of a text message that was sent to Sultan, they wouldn't sit around waiting to clarify things because when you feel your friends are in trouble, you leave everything else for later and try to reach to them as soon as possible. Any normal and good friend would have done this and Sultan did exactly the same.
If you want to bring culture in between, then it's not even in the culture to live with someone you aren't traditionally married to. So RK and Madhu's 4 phere wali shaadi doesn't count now does it? And in the culture, men cannot treat women like door mats either, whether they are their wives or strangers.

So true and well said!! I was just thinking along the similar lines!! Sultan isn't even interfering in Madhu's life and certainly not without her permission but circumstances are bringing him again and again in front of Madhu-RK. Moreover the way Sultan understands Madhu within just a few days of meeting her, and not reacting to RK's words or hits is surely going to tell Madhu a story soon that everybody who truly loves her or cares for her including Sultan is just telling her to get away from RK for her own sake. Madhu may have some plans but she sure knows that none of them are going to work now. She is probably thinking one last time whether she really loves RK or not before cutting the final chord with RK and moving on in her life which apparently she had started doing after RK ditched her. She is a strong woman who is capable of gathering her shattered life and making it beautiful all over again! It is now just a matter of time and Sultan coming repeatedly in front of her is going to serve the purpose of reminding her of her own goals. Let's see what's in store for us!!

wonderful post .. thousand mindless accusation by RK n one line by Sultan .. impact .. I forgot thousand lines but that one line .. in my world .. keep ringing in my head .. RK's punch against it was just a result of weakness .. when a man who thinks himself invincible has nothing left to say he uses his hand .. but again Sultan proved his strength by resisting his anger .. wow .. RK .. I never hated him . he was an entertainer .. I enjoyed his ego pagalpan attitude but he never cud achieve my RESPECT in ds one year what Sultan achieved in one day .. any person with matured n sensible heart n unbiased brain cud feel it ..

Thanks. True that. I don't remember anything RK said now 😆 . But I still remember that one line from Sultan. So powerful and true. Strength comes from the heart and mind, not your hands. And Sultan proved it with grace!
