But look at the original topic. the TM says...NOTHING stays the same. That applies to everything. So why can't we watch a serial without treating labels like hero, villian etc as if they are an arm or leg or a character? ie that it is permanently fixed? I say lets judge on what each character DOES and how it behaves CONSISTENTLY over a period of time.

Have we seen any show in Colors having only 2 leads & still passed 1000 episodes? It's hard to run a show for a long time only with totally based on 2 people. Otherwise, which show we have seen running like that? Every show running on few goes off air after a year which MB PH clearly don't want it. They want the show to run for years so obviously they will make sure to prepare everything for show's future from now.

It's rare in other channels too. Anyways, I am not gonna go too much into leads details as for me it doesn't really make difference as long as the characters & show make sense to give me entertainment lol!!
But one thing is of course I agree with the fact about this story about Madhubala! Be it in promos, wiki, here everywhere it says it. It always said a story of a girl! Never anywhere it said a story of two people in love etc. If it was only love story, it would've mentioned a story of two people in love like in IPK everywhere it's mentioned & even the show title would either have the guy name too or Madhubala name wouldn't be there. Only EK Ishq EK Junoon the show would've been called if it was only love story. Just because the show has love story doesn't mean whole show became about that :O Which Indian show don't have love story?? Heck even social message shows have love stories like BV, Geet etc , so does that mean the whole show became a love story or be it Chan Chan which is also a story about a girl, even Chan Chan have love story with Manav there so does that mean the whole show became love story? o_O!!
