no ..I never liked him...he introduced to the show as villain..first Mukund was the hero...I always considered he as villain in the show...but after he got shot he showed little bit softness and Madhu too started to love him...because of Madhu's character I liked the rishbala pair...Not RK...

But if rk does redeem himself, will you accept him? I didn't watch the show from the beginning, I started in the middle but I knew the whole story. When rk first entered the show and he hit mukund and was rude...did you hate him then too? Then he became good...how did your reactions and thoughts change? Was it gradual or instant?

I know I ask too many questions but I really am interested to know what you guys think after all we do watch the same show and come to the same forum. So I think it is important to understand each others thoughts and feelings without any bashing and chaos.

im not sure...i wanna see how far he would go in trying to redeem himself...i read somewhere if rk actually truly realises the damage he did to madhu with his words and actions and truly sincerely feels bad he wouldnt be with her he would feel unworthy and i would wanna see that him leaving madhu and then madhu wanting to win him back...thats what i originally wanted after the unwedding track started i wanted a true redemption track with a mini rishbala separation and then they finally unite for good...but thats never gonna happen ... ... ... and now with sultan in the pic i dont think hes here for a little while and to me he brings spice to the show and i really do wanna see a sulbala track...sultan and madhu share a pure genuine relationship of mutual understanding, trust and respect which unfortunately was never shown with rishbala and i wanna see sulbala blossom...they are friends and thats so vital i wanna see where they take it...even if sulbala are never gonna be 'lovers' i wouldnt be too sad coz they share something unique and its a pleasure to watch their interactions

back to rk again...i never watched the show from the start i only started watching it from the wedding epi itself and i knew he was a grey character with a dark past and like i was slightly horrified when i saw his marriage - 4 pheres, throwing mangalsultra, chillis on sr bed 😆 but i didnt hate him...and i knew madhu wld change him and i really enjoyed seeing him change and fall for madhu i got into the show so much! and then the unwedding track </3 ...and since then i can no longer like his character or ship rishbala...i mean rk became a scary psycho with his handcuffing and his emo self harm like for me thats a really sensitive subject (self harm) and for him to just causally do that to manipulate madhu is awful i started detesting his character..

noo its good u ask questions and im actually really happy coz ur the first rishbala fan who actually wants to understand our mindsets and ur inviting positive discussion im really glad 😳 ..this shows that sulbala and rishbala fans can actually respect and understand each other and its good coz im so fed up of the non stop bashing posts made everyday...so thank you 😊
sorry for the super long essay 😆

It's nice to see that even though many of you don't like rk, you like VD. Cuz I had seen many posts that hated VD cuz of rk. Only a few bad apples can make it seem that everyone is like that.

Thank you all for voting and sharing your views!

And keep up the good work to keep this thread clean!

I loved rishbala because of dd..I'm sorry but Vd does nothing for me. He is a great actor but I am unable to connect with him as a fan. Non wedding track was unwatchable for me and I still thought rishbala would pull thru because they are the leads but after RK's psychotic behavior I feel he is non redeemable. I can't think of a single way cv's can redeem him. Hopefully for TRUE rishbala fans they are able to but I don't know how.

Now to sultan...I love his and madhu's chemistry. I love to see the smile on her face when she is with him and as a dd and madhu fan that makes me love this jodi. She looks happy and not so scared with him. They have this intriguing relationship that no one is able to define and that adds spice to a show that had become very boring.

Great post and thanks for listening.

I am a Madhubala fan. I enjoy the show and loved the Rishbala jodi and will alway love it because it has become an iconic jodi now.

I love Sultan's entry to the show and love his and Madhu's interactions. I want CV's to explore that relationship but slowly.
I voted "yes"; I liked him unti he took her forcefully and handcuffed her. RK lost that respect. Up until then, i thought ok he is an anti-hero and he has a lot of poison in him and that's how he knows how to love.
To me his love has become demeaning, degrading, detrimental, diabolical, dire, disconcerting, dismay, distraught and it's time for it to disperse, dissipate and desolve.

The unwedding drama butchered his character for me. I thought someone who has tasted betrayal so many times before would value true love when he found it and not betray her. Also he said he could never do anything his dead father would disapprove of. That is when I started thinking that this might be a man of some values if not a lot. But during the unwedding drama I lost the tiny bit of respect I had for him.

@Sathya88 I respect your opinion that you don't like VD and it's okay...you don't have to like him. As a rishbala fan I feel like that rk can redeem himself by letting go of madhu or risking his life for her. But everything is in cvs hands. Thanks for voting and commenting!

@amni375 even though I am a die hard rishbala/rk fan...I found the handcuff scene to have crossed limits. Rk really never learned to say sorry the right way. Thanks for sharing your views!
