MB is getting mentally ready to deal with whatever R.K. has in mind for her.
Her wearing of a gown that makes her uncomfortable and standing up to the "Gutter Queen" is showing that she is sticking to her conviction of going to any extreme to convince R.K. that "HE" is the "Love" of her life.
No doubt she has to plan her strategy with great care. After all she is dealing with the devious mind of a great manipulator who is very good at knowing her weakness and pushing her buttons.
Walking on a precipice is going to look like a walk in the park for her if she shows any kind of weakness that will tip off R.K.
So her resolve and conviction to regain her self-respect and self-esteem will take all her acting ability to be successful to gain her freedom back.
I applaud her courage to even enter into the "Lions Den"
