There is no other choice for her na.

She has tried so much to make RK understand, but he is not letting it go and neither is leaving her alone, and the night when RK talked about the film and about killing her and himself made her take this decision to end this in whatever way.

To make Madhu's plan a success it is important she was not shown. otherwise she will catch Madhu and try to save her Rishu or try to change Madhu's mind by her gyan about Rishu's dark past stories.

From the segment it is seen she has pase so fsed the love test after jumping off from terrace. So far she is safe.
