oh thats a major problem di. Of course u'll have to keep the blog close due to many frauds going on on internet...this is a real tough situation. Let me think or ask ppl who are into such things abt their advice. Will get back to u soon

i don't know if i ever mentioned but i want to do now i love your looong updates...i love to read what they think and feel...it makes easier for me to empathize with the characters...

This is a problem and a tough decision to make, I think you should keep the blog private, and the decision to invite people or kick somebody out should definitely be in your hands, and the readers should respect that decision.
If it helps make sure you keep the regular readers who comment and leave feedback regularly and if anybody miss commenting for more then 3 times they loose the spot.

I appolizise if my statement here looks a little stern, but if we think from the writers perspective she just wants everybody to read her writing and also save her work.

Pm or send an email to the people who you have sent out invites to and ask if they are reading your blog. But don't forget to mention it here on the thread. If don't get a reply or get a reply saying no then you can cross them off your list.

So in that case such a step wnt be gud. Di what if u update it at any site n side by side keep removing the updates at regular intervals?

They can always give a one liner that they won't be able to comment for this specific time and let sim know.

Your suggestion is also gud but it will increase simi's work.

To tell the truth except a few, most ppl are inconsistent with their comments. I have no clue why. They probably do have enough reason. Anyways I can't bend anybody's arm, can I?

I almost want to quit. LOL Perhaps I should. This is depressing.
