four slaps..and the pain and humiliation that followed was beyond imagination. It was a physical assult and what we saw in retaliation was both physical and mental.
"what can I do if your wife is dead?" to say this to a man who is still deeply in love with his dead wife and still considers himself somewhat responsible for the mishap is extremely painful. This is a pain which cannot be shared or shown to anyone and it runs deep.yet the man was magnanimous enough to let it be. Did not hold any grudges for the pain inflicted thus by some one who is a mere acquaintance. Inspite of that he is still concerned for her safety and happiness is something that is seen to be believed. That was the way it was supposed to be. Sultan to forgive, because he is different, and this simple gesture of "let it be" was enough to showcase this man is made of different mettle altogether.Love him for what he said and admire him for what he left unsaid."How do you manage relationships so well?" this is a very interesting question, who would have thought of Sultan coming from such a messy background will still be so careful about human values and relationships? which even greatest of men on this earth stumbled over??And why must he interfere? He will because she interfered and barged into his life when he was totally unprepared. She thought she was saving his son from unknown dangers. Laughable as it may seem,Sultan sees himself as the saviour of Madhu to save her from "known"dangers. And it is probably not the saving,it is something else too, but, since he is not sure how can he share that with Madhu?"Why Sultan?" Madhu's question was not made just as an enquiry, the expression told she waited to to hear the reply in an expected way.And he kept quiet. "whenever I see you in trouble,I will come to intervene to safe guard". There are times when you are left speechless because you find words too meagre to express what you feel. So it is best it is left unsaid. It was one such moment. A moment for which you wait for eternity ,a moment to cherish forever. Why indeed,Sultan? Is it just because she saved your and Aryaan life once? Or is it because you feel this girl who has been most viciously deceived, must be protected from all evils? The more I think over this, the more I admire this man. So quiet,so dignified and so gentlemanly. Of course he threatens, but,he does that when he is provoked or any one he cares for is in danger. We all do that, when we find ourselves cornered.Madhu was about to blurt out what she had in her mind and why she lied,if she would not have been interrupted by Aryaan. But,I cannot blame the little kid for the interruption. He was so adorable,so innocent and so much fond of Madhu. He tookj a promise that she would share everything with her mother. And she agrees and also carries out the request as well. It was friendship that made her give the promise and it was trust that made her carry it out.She may not give it a name, she may not concur, but there is no denying the fact that she did what was expected of her. She did as was advised by Sultan. And may be once the clock strikes 4:32 p:M: she will realise what she needs to do to come to grips with her sliding life. Which anchor it requires and which hand to hold the anchor.
