I think Padmini, being in the place she is now, thinks she is right to disown Madhu. And if I was in her place, perhaps I would do the same- look at what she knows: her daughter was emotionally shattered, humiliated, she begged the man who hurt her and was spurned. She's seen firsthand what RK's actions have done to Madhu, and in her point of view, Madhu is throwing herself into the flames again.
And as a person you do have an emotional limit, especially regarding a person you love and care about. But I wonder...could she as a mother really sever all links with her daughter? Is that really possible?
In a way I admire Padmini for having the gumption to go as far as she has. But in a way I wonder if she'll be able to stay the path...

AA ...just wanted to add Padmini has herself been in an abusive relationship and barely made out alive. In her mind she probably likens RK to Ballu and wants to make sure Madhu gets out of the relationship before it is too late. I won't be surprised if she sees some of Shamsher in Sultan too. The only problem is RK is not Ballu, Madhu is not Padmini and Sultan is not Shamsher.

Just thought of another thing that has been bugging me which came to the forefront of my mind: What happened to the fact that Dips was supposed to get Sikky that role? He seems to have gone back to his avatar of loving, but doofus husband. I miss smart Sikky😕
Also, I found this strange, and people have commented on it: RK kept telling Madhu to tell her mother what was going on, and Madhu was hesitating- I think it showed RK's turmoil because usually he's quite in tune with her emotions.

AA, I agree with you. I do miss Sikky with a more intellect where he could stand up with to his evil wife. I hope the CVs do push his character out of Dips' shadow and give him more meaningful screen time. He is a delight to watch, pure comedy relief.

@RK pressing Madhu to express her feelings: I think the man was hunted by his earlier dream; he just did want the outcome of his dream playing out in his reality.

rk is scared of loosing her so he's not playing around..m ruling out that option totally!

@Soundarya: I agree with you...I am curious to know if it is not revenge then what is it? If she means to teach him a lesson...exactly which lesson is she planning to teach him?

On the other hand Paddy's knowledge of RK's action is incomplete and biased. Interestingly Madhu has always told her half the story which casts her in victim's light and seems to imply RK is an abusive inhumane individual. In truth Madhu has always been the aggressor/initiater...RK has just reacted to it in a dispropotionate manner.

For example-

1)Madhu told her that RK broke her phone but she never tells him that she instigated him by talking on cellphone where she was not supposed to. Nor does she tell them how she took that medicine kit for him taunting him all the while.

2)Madhu told her that RK humiliated her during the windshield incident but she skips the fact that Sultan threatened RK and RK might have mistakenly assumed Aryan to be Sultan.

3)She skips the fact that RK came to visit her on Holi and she danced with him. He had implied that they have complete right to each other in physical sense.

4)She skips the fact that she spent a night in RK mansion after getting drunk.

5)Trishna assumes the worst when she sees torn kurta but Madhu never tells her that RK had not intended it but was trying to protect her in dark.

6)She tells RK took her forcibly to RK mansion but does not mention that he threatened to commit suicide if she leaves, asked for a second chance earnestly or that Sultan challenged him while pointing a gun at him.

7)Do maliks know that Madhu had sent bangles for RK to get the entire thing kicked off in the beginning?
