Regarding Sultan, every time he opens his mouth to speak to RK he says "Agar Madhu meri biwi hoti to..." type sentences. It is not once but many times now, so it is intentional on his part. Now say, isn't it the epitome of shamelessness. He doen't even regret is language.

Whereas RK has several times shown his regret over his past deeds and begging from a chance from Madhu to rectify his follies.

shown regret when? where? and how? I only here him say things like you are my property you have no other choice but to love me or otherwise I will shoot you? I havent heard him say I am sorry Madhu once. Yes Sultan is saying if Madhu was my wife I would respect her and keep her happy and not treat her like my private property.
