I mean the actions were self-explanatory enough, but when he says such specific things like "whether i love you or not" you can only defend him for so long. and i don't for a moment believe that he doesn't love her, but for a smart guy like him it wouldn't have been so difficult to figure out that those were definitely NOT the right choice of words to use. clearly not himself at all; at least 10 IQ points dumber. and it's obvious that the creatives are just doing this to hurry the story along to the next track; i don't want revenge either, and i don't think it'll happen. but it's certainly an option if the writers change their minds, which makes me not to optimistic.

@bold I am not defending him but I have an explanation for this..
He already told her that hero, despite being loved by all, is in love with heroine.. His heart says Madhu, Madhu instead of lubb, dubb... He actually told her that he loves her. How he was not able to stop thinking about her after revenge. ( he knew what he was talking about at that point, the craziness started once he started talking about Madhu's questionable feelings toward Sultan)
And then he was explaining to her that at that time when he saw bhai n Madhu together, she thought RK didnt love her, but she was still in love with him regardless he loved her or not.. I don't think it meant that he doesn't love her.. This is my take.. Tell me if I am wrong..? He mentioned earlier that only he has right to love her..

Regarding the murder threat, since the time bhai came into his radar, he has been extremely mad and had conversations with himself.. He did show his fury and anger on that man and even Madhu, but never mentioned for once about his desire to kill. Even during his drunk confession to bhai he didn't mention his desire to kill.. . I am not gonna buy that.. He can't see her trip on the floor, so u think he can kill her.. He will rather kill the guy.. It was RK just being the insecure man who under the same fear had hugged Dipali, which was one of the most disgusting scene in my eyes..

The reason I keep giving him so many chances even though he has gone overboard with all the crap we have witnessing all these days.. There is change in personality as I mentioned earlier. It's only to help with the progression of the story.. I know Madhu got fooled with the show he put up for her, but I can't forget the show he put up for us when nobody was there to witness his real feelings...

If all that was false, then clunk in story is too much to take nd there is no point to be passionate about such a clunky storyline.. I have to say its the two characters that have been very convincingly played by the two actors.. How can they be so good? The production house lucked out with their leads.. One is better than the other.. Complement each other so well.. That despite all the ugly drama I am still not willing to see them part..

I AGREE
like with every single word of that
personally my problem was never with the meaning behind his words, because by now i've come to realize that he almost never means what it may seem like on the surface, but his crude choice of words. his confession, however circumscribed still leaves room for doubt, not so much in my mind but in Bala's mind; which is why i wish he wasn't so comprehensive with expressing his inner turmoil. madhu's not exactly the sharpest tool in the shed, which makes me question exactly how much of that she actually understood. and yeah, i don't think him saying that means at all that he doesn't love her because at this point he's assuming that his actions are speaking louder then any words ever could but once again i just had a problem with the phrasing not the message. i understand perfectly that he was just expressing that she's his and he's hers, like he's been doing the past couple of episodes.

and you're right, those are the exact and very same reasons i keep giving him second chances. he isn't an evil character but the creatives don't mind at all giving him negative shades to push the story along. they did it with the revenge, that was never on the cards(which is why i always just assume everything was real because at that time it was; no revenge was planned), and now with his personality lapses. he's not an unredeemable character just because the creatives choose to exploit him every time they want to get the plot moving in a new direction.
