nice post! and along with the trp factor, i'd say another reason why this track won't work is because this Sultan character just doesn't have that 'it' factor it takes to run an entire show. apart from being dumb as a doorknob he fails to hold the viewers attention for very long. if they do decide to go his route, what kind of dialogue would his scenes consist of? he falls pathetically short on the personality scale. the fact of the matter is, he's not some larger than life character, he's barely even making it into the category of "side character" even Sikki&Depali have more personality then this guy.

I just agree n some point not all rest will decided by audience , the only reason is some trp audience may not take MAdhu with sultaan as he is gang so RK-MAdhu fans should be thanks full to cvs other instead of bashing them left right, as this is the only point ppl are unnecessary bashing him n giving reason not to accept madhu with him , otherwise his char n whatever point you said are completely working for Madhu-Sultaan n some point more than them, TRP audience are not like only romance in the show. if he was not gasn than RK-Madhu ko wpaus lane main after revenge cvs ke presene choot jate, still it is not easy now what they have shown in last 2 week n even after revenge but for that also so many thing cvs can do ,don't want to discuss here otherwise fight n insecurity start ho jayegi.

Agree wid ur Post... N even at my home everybody stopped watching when the track was focused on Sultan ...
Now they again started watching because of RishBala ...
everybody in my home are working n they don't wanna come home n watch gangster based track ...

Completely agree with you! I have nothing against AR, it's just the character Sultan that annoys me. In fact, I gave Sultan a chance until he showed signs of falling for Madhu. He got off my good books with a bang right then and there! That was such a disappointment.
