MB Team, Mr.Sourav Tewari, Raghuvir Shekhawat and all, curse you all for putting me in a state of ambivalence...
On the one hand the entire emotional torture that RK is putting Madhu through is repulsive to me...then on the other, am impressed for you all raising a very relevant and pivotal issue of "marital abuse" here (be it physical or emotional)...Kudos to you all for taking this risk...
As for my sentiments on today's episode...
Just as I had presumed "the process of degeneration" of RK has begun affirming my presentiments that I should shirk away of nurturing any hope of seeing any redemption in him...Needless to say this progresses or should I say digresses, my aversion to this person is on the rise...
Even after having induced Madhu to reveal her feelings for him and which she does despite all the emotional pain and torture he has rendered on her, his need to satiate his ego is the uppermost...There's not an iota of empathy in him despite seeing her in so much anguish...For him it's just "I, me and myself"...
Yes, one did get to see him making little efforts to appease his biwi in his own high handed ways and trying to recreate the lovely past moments they had shared...With no realization that these very acts of his that seemed to have won her over in the past are the very ones that bring back to her the memories of deceit and lies accompanied to all these...
One more interesting aspect that the CVs have highlighted here that a person who is a hero in the public eye, in real life might be a complete contrast to his public image...
On closure, besides these other appealing features of the episode were the dialogues and the performances which have become the mainstay of Madhubala...
Raghuvir, besides apt verbosity like the rephrasal of famous movie lines (today it was from KKHH) that you pitch in...
Vivian, he is impressive as the demented and megalomaniac RK.
Drashti, she has the capability of eliciting empathy from her audience...one is in pain on seeing her character in pain or vice-versa...
