Actually, RK had had all of Madhu's clothes thrown out along with the green duppata which was caressing his face when he opened the cupboard. So, I guess, all those clothes were taken to madhu's house.

The blooper is how it got back into RK's cupboard!😆

Edit: The duppatta is plain green and I think the one Madhu left behind was double coloured.

Maybe the blooper is how a multi-colored dupatta became plain again.

Of course, I could be wrong...never had a good memory.
