Not really .. It shows desperation of cvs to make viewers accept the gangster track they are playing out and salvage mAdhu .
Anyway I tune out the gangster scenes Nyway so it does not impact me :-)

truly wonderful line n dialog, bu kya fayda re, jo logon ne ear main cotton n heart per MAdhu ke iye hate sirf aur sirf RK lke liye love laga rakha unko koi fark nahi padta , they will say lecture boring they only want passion n touching chahe madhu happy ho na ho doesn't matter for them RK khush hona chahiye aur wo happy hona chahiye, if same she did with RK she will get praise but if she did with Sultaan then charless n so many thing achai ko bhi kiske saath achha ker rahi uske use per tola jata hai.chado don't care anymore
