Think from Madhubala's perspective. There is something called unconditional love and embers of which keep burning despite the ugly and real ugly. R.K played a game but Madhubala loved him and loved both his evil as well as good. It'll take years and a new man's unconditional love to really move on. Yes, there is something called self-respect and dignity of a woman but how to tell that to a heart that longs for the man and loved him and still loves him. Love does not come with a switch on and switch off. She is completely crushed, heart-broken, and it'll be difficult to trust again but it's hard to forget your first love even if the man turns out to be the biggest jerk on the planet. It's impractical to think practically. It does not happen only in shows but I have seen it in real life too. You may call such kinds fools but then you are not in their shoes to experience their trance like state or see what makes them act so foolishly. It's completely a different state of mind.

We all understand that, but I guess we all thought Madhu was better than that. That she will be the kind of girl who will prove herself as stronger and different and will set an example...as she has already set with her fearlessness, and in the way she faces life and troubles, and still keeps her ideals and morals intact...:-)

And hence the disappointment.
