Please refrain from basher behaviour. Thank you.
I have followed the show since episode one, and it didn't manage to intrigue me until now. Personally, I'm absolutely loving the new male character and his chemistry with Madhu.
The actor who portrays Sultan has positively surprised me. He's talented, intense, and I do believe that his character has immense potential on the show. The chemistry between him and Madhubala is commendable. It's solid and, if given space, could develop into an interesting relationship with substantial layers and depth.
Sultan is a tough character, but I think that it's the actor that manages to make it seem so multidimensional, at this point. He plays with voice modulation and expressions. Despite the character's cold/rough appearance, he gives it emotion underneath the bland mask -- that is what intrigues me.
I'm hoping for more scope on his character. The interaction between him and Madhubala is entertaining and incredibly sweet. He's charming in the way that he carries himself -- a bit rough and tough on the outside, but essentially with a conscience. He apologises to Madhu, but seems afraid of being too vulnerable, so he basically puts up a front and acts as if he doesn't want to owe her. When really he's just grateful for her help.
There's a good heart inside that chest. I'm certain of it. And I'm hoping to find out more about his past and future on the show.

Well said!! 👏 I couldn't agree more. Besides he has more depth then what the RK character has been showing for a long time now. All of RK's ego crap has been getting sooo boring and tedious for quite a while. This makes a refreshing change.

Heres to hoping RK breaks a leg in the US and stays there for a while! :D

Im liking whats happening in his absence! 😳

Totally agree with you.

I love male characters like Sultan. They are strong on the outside, but have a vulnerable side to them.😳

I Agree!!!!

I am loving this character. Sultan has so many sides to him and the actor portrays it perfectly. The anger, the father, the killer. He acts like he has no emotions but he is effected.

Sultan and Madhu are a great foil for each other. She needs someone like Sultan in her life - emotionally needs, let me clarify. 😉

Very well said! Couldn't have agreed more! The actor who plays Sultan is Avinesh Rekhi and he appeared in a previous show on Colors - Chaal, Sheh Aur Maat. Madhubala is his second show only and he has done an excellent job of it!

What's more? When I went to check out his celebrity page, I found there is no info about him! A mystery man indeed!! Totally suitable to play a character like Sultan, the mysterious man who seems to be fathomless.

I for one would certainly like to see how CVs explore this character and how he and Madhu influence each other's lives through their intense interactions! Unfortunately, the sad part is that the RishBala fans can pressurize CVs and cut short Sultan and Madhu's interactions. General audience does not realize that the world of fiction can be beyond goody-goody romance and they turn a serial into a ghisa-pita serial like any other serial without exploring the possibilities of how exciting things can become. That includes by the way, the obsession for a character like RK who can break law by drink-n-drive, forcing a girl to marry him, even that marriage was a sham of a marriage with just 4 pheras, breaking trust and love and degrading the so-called wife to an extent of making her serve the drinks to his guests at the party, the worst of all, sweetly telling her off that she isn't worthy of even his physical love, boasting and gloating about how she lived in such a super-rich husband's house thus finally even nailing her 'chawl and financial status'. And audiences want such a person to redeem?!!! Like really?!! Will he?!! Ask yourself truthfully!! People who boast and gloat NEVER change! So the taunts will still be there, the barbs and the pain will still be there and in addition to that the fact that he wooed her back!!! Nothing more insulting to a woman in my eyes. RK is a lost cause where redemption is concerned!! Such people don't change! And our dear audiences are hoping against hope that RK will redeem himself, say sorry and be forgiven by Madhu and taken back by Madhu only to start the whole cycle of degradation all over again!! Talk of being obsessive about such a character! I surely don't mind RK being around and stay as he is around Madhu at least that will be realistic!! Then CVs can show how RK is being affected by Madhu along with her relation or interactions with Sultan!! Wishful thinking, nahi?!!
