I personally feel that CVs are giving importance to each and every character as per the situation demands and giving equal screen space accordingly...just taking them into cast list and not giving them enough screen space would also be an revilement to the individual actors who have been roped in.
at the end of the day, all the cast and crew should be happy including the viewers have to be happy.
