Of course they're real! Maybe not every single one but definitely 99% of them. I think right now he's having such a hard time selling himself the story that he did every single thing out of revenge. He's not even admitting that he may have had even ONE genuine, candid moment with her. Which is, just not true. He's an idiot. Seriously, he's so smart and clever when it comes to everything else, but he doesn't know himself at all. How could he fail so completely? And it speaks for itself, that so far every time he's gotten drunk it's always been in some way related to Madhubala.
