I must say the CVs have done a commendable job with their "bank episodes" and bringing in this new track to cover up VD's absence...it's commendable because instead of inserting some insipid short term track, they brought in this one of Sultan being shot by laying a sound foundation...to me the buildup till now has been convincing...
As for today's episode, the first of part of this was an "action packed" one in true hindi film ishtyle...and the latter was a heart-tugging cute one...
The action sequence was very well executed, full marks to the team and also Avinesh Rekhi for making as the tough ready for action Sultan believable...it was indeed a visual treat for me which I thoroughly enjoyed, giving me the feel of watching a hindi movie...Cannot miss out SV as the bad to the core Bhujang, completely fitting the part...using Aryan's voice as a decoy to rile Sultan was a good touch...This is one more feature of the MB team that is truly commendable : forethought and fore planning and of course not leaving any loose ends...
The next part involving Madhu and Aryan... wherein a worried Kaka leaves Aryan with Madhu so that he can go on the look out for Sultan, is all fine...but what didn't go down well with me was Sultan taking on Bhujang single handedly...where are his bodyguards and his henchmen...even if we are to believe that this once Sultan decides to make it a one man job...then at least I hope Kakaji is not running helter skelter all alone in search of him...
This part of bonding between Madhu and Aryan was really heart-tugging...also loved the way Padmini puts asides her apprehensions and goes along with them...both Drashti and the kid playing Aryan look so cute and adorable that it's difficult to choose who is more cute...
On the lighter note, for RK to win over Madhu from Sultan is not going to be an arduous task but to win her over Aryan is sure going to be an herculean one...
On the final note, RK leaving for an outdoor shoot, his way of letting Madhu know that he has let her go...finally some glimpse of realization from RK of his misdeeds and first step towards making amends...so my retro choice for today is something akin to this ,though a female version seemed just right for RK :
