Well, about Madhu's job, I got the feeling, RK told the producer to fire her in anger because she called him a sadist and hence Bittuji was trying to cover up for him. Otherwise where was the need for him to tell a lie?

And that was why she was dejected. Like what else is new, were her thoughts. Now that he found out she is not involved with anyone, he does not give a fig about keeping an eye on her anymore.

May be I read it wrong?

I read it as since the drama now moves to the chawl (as R.K is not available on the set), it's better to show that she is temporarily out of work and keep her occupied at the chawl. 😊

Yes, But the reason must be something for her being suddenly out of work rt?
And why did they put in that dialogue about Madhu understanding that Bittuji was lying to her? If her contract was over normally, then why would he have any reason to lie to her about it?
I guess that was my reasoning behind my thinking. 😊
May be I am missing some other explanation? I would love to hear it. I would not want to think RK malicious and reckless to that extent, but unfortunately I have no longer any confidence in him.

Even I hope his past is a good one.

I am loving Sultan character. And AR is really good and he is good looking too.

Maybe he might pay back Madhu by helping her in some way and might become a very good freind or a well wisher, cos Madhu won't accept any money from him.

Swapana: The scene was just providing a reason why Madhubala cannot be on the set and there is nothing else to read in that small conversation. She said that to Bittoo jee because he was trying to cover-up that she may be out of work till the crew and cast of the movie are on outdoor shooting.
